Question about Maytag Washing Machines
Power off by unplug and wait few minutes and again tried but the result is same
The unit will not operate in this condition until the lid lock signals a locked condition. The controller is signaling that it believes the lid is not locked. Assuming the lid is actually locked, then this might occur because of a bad wiring connection (check the lid lock switch assembly and the cabling at the controller) or a bad lid lock switch/sensor.

SOURCE: lid locked no power
use a screwdriver in the crevice beneath the lid. Approx 4 inches from each side you will see a 1" silver piece of metal, push the tab towards the back of the machine. Once you get one side loose place something such as a screwdriver to keep it unlatched until you get the other side loose. The top should come open. And there is also a service book inside your washing machine, I fixed mine myself. Look at my other postings. Good luck!!

Just try to check the door latch device. Be sure that the latch is not bound or sticking in any way .This problem with a lot of machines and it almost always was the door lock latch assembly. It has a switch inside it that pauses or stops the cycle if the door is not closed properly, when this switch malfunctions then it will pause or stop the cycle repeatedly; just from the small movement of the wash cycle. The door will actually be shut all the way and the lock may be on. You must replaced this switch so it works normal again..
Just click for the spare parts site link;
Hope it may help you;

SOURCE: Lid lock
yes - simply jumper the two wires on the switch (chassis side).
the part on the lid is actually a magnet.
