The top head of my juicer keeps touching the blade part making it impossible to make the machine work.

I have tried to level the top cover and where the blade spins to not touch it, and it works if i lift the cover a little while it's in place. If i let go of the top cover it will clash with blade and make loud metal clashing noises.

SOURCE: Loud noise when spinning

I agree with Gittos on the bearing assessment. This considered part of the drive system. If it's less than 5 years old, your next move is to contact Sears and claim a warranty repair on the tranny (it has a 5 year warranty on it). If it's more than 5? Well, honestly it wouldn't be worth the repair. You'd have spent more money on all the parts required than what the unit is worth (worth= what it would sell for in working condition on the market). Hope it's less than 5!

SOURCE: loud noise while agitating in wash cycle

I have the same problem, loud plastic squeak/grind when agitating only. I'd like to fix it, but have never taken apart a washing machine.

The advice below sounds good but where do you start with "begin dissassembly from the tub down"....etc. Anyone have a good internet resource with images for disassembling this machine?

Thanks.

SOURCE: Washing machine making whining noise during spin only

Yes, bearing, most definitely. It is a cheap part but difficult to replace.

SOURCE: Kenmore 80 series 110 washer making loud noise during final spin

Make sure all springs are still in their place tilt the machine back and look under it and you can see them. 2nd all legs must be level as well as the floor.

I have a John Deere Sabre 38" 14.5 hp mower. It works fine at low speed but when you try to accelerate it makes a grinding noise

This could mean many things, innumerable possibilities, I will give you the most common, at low speed the blades will not wiggle unleveled as much as when they are accelerated, that grinding noise would, most likely, be your blades touching the sides or top of the protection shell or cover in your machine. Remove and level with those inexpemnsive kits and a grinder, also when you hit a rock, or in any case a root, while you are in use of your machine, this will slightly bend one side of the blade making it impossible to see by eye but when the blades spin, this will be very noticeable by the noise made. Good luck

The plunger to my Jack Lalanne juicer is stuck making it impossible to continue juicing. Nothing is blocking the blade or other parts. Can you help? Carol

this happens to me a lot. Take the lid off the juicer and turn the lid upside down take a hammer preferably a rubber mallet one and gently tap the bottom of the plunger while holding it upside down with bottom part of plunger up to your vision field tape it on bottom while trying to turn it into the right position (flat side to flat side) from the top putting a little torque on it..when it is tapped with a hammer or some similar tool far enough up the tube in reverse, it will then turn into the right spot if you tap the bottom with one hand while turning t to the right position on the top of the plunger and will be able to be removed but do not tap hard enough to break it.

It won't "go" It seems to be assembled the same as always and I have oranges in the tube and the motor goes on and hums but the blade and sieve don't spin

mcdevito75 here, The Oranges must be in the tube so tight it"s keeping the blades from spinning, turn juicer off nplug from wall, remove cover and unclog the oranges. Reassemble and feed oranges slowy into the juicer.

The blade keeps rubbing with the upper part of the machine

Make sure the orange blade is properly seated and screwed in place. Don't screw it too tight though. If it still touches the top cover, sand it off or file it off. Whatever the blade touches the white portion of the cover, file it off.

It want turn on in smells burned

Assuming the motor is not totally burned yet, Make sure the blade is fiitted in its place right. Take the blade out again and fit it right along with the strainer. If it is not seated and fitted well, it will touch the upper cover and will not turn and will smell burnt.

Acme juicer #6001, has a new blade, becomes unbalanced...

Hello, First, make sure the screw on clamp that holds the blade down is centering the blade correctly. Also make sure it tightens down firmly against the blade. Wiggle the blade to ensure it is mounted securely. If this doesn' fix it try your old blade again. If your old blade works you may have a bad, unbalance blade but I would suspect he screw on clamp knob may be somewhat worn and not securing the blade causing it to run "out of round" when a piece of vegetable pushes on it. If everything looks good with both blades and the blade securing knob it could be a worn bearing on the juicer. Try wiggling the motor shaft and see if there is any play in it. I have an ACME 6001 that is quite old so I wouldn't suspect the bearings are going. One other thing, does the bowl take 3 to 5 minutes to stop spinning when you shut off the motor? If it does then the shaft and bearing are probalby ok

Good luck with it...gary
