Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
Has anyone tried to install a pinto/ mustang II rack and pinion, like the ones from jegs, on a 1994 Toyota camry le sedan with the 2.2 4cyl engine and automatic transaxle?
I believe that the rack for Mustang 2/pinto, are mounted in front of the axle center. When the design of the original for your car is behind. Knuckles will need to be switched from side to side and input shaft will need to be extended and a few u-joints installed. Would be more practical and safer to get an original /oem/re manufactured unit.
