did you setup an aux. account that the service provider can send you for a password reset? if not you have to contact them, and they will verify your info and they will give you a temp code to reenter it and reset it yourself

Click the "Start" button.
Double-click "User Accounts."

Select the user account you wish to change.

Select "Change My Password." If you wish to remove the password, select "Remove My Password."

Enter the existing password in the first field.

Enter your new password in the second and third fields.

To change the password in your Yahoo account:

(1) In your web browser, go to any Yahoo! page. Make sure you are logged in to your Yahoo! account.
(2) In upper left corner, place cursor on small triangle just to right of "Hi, [your name]", then pull down menu, select "Account info"


(3) On next screen, verify your Yahoo! user name and password, then click "sign in"
(4) On account page, under "Sign-in and security", click on "Change your password"
(5) On password change page, enter old password, then your desired new password, then click "Save"

If you have other user account on it with admin rights ..you can remove teh password or remove the account and make it again and save the files ..but if you are the only user and the user password is the issue ..you need to reinstall the operation system cause there is no other way ..
If you have someone good on computers ..you can try to hook the hard disk to another computer and locate the file with the password and change it or delete it , but I''m not sure about results..
Anyway hooking it up on another windows system may help you to retrieve important files on C drive ..and after that reinstall and format the C drive ..and I suggest not to use a password anymore unless really necessary ..

Login to your yahoo email and click on your username in the upper-right corner and select Account Info. You may have to retype your existing password again for security purposes. Then click change your password. Enter your current password and choose your new password. Save. That's it.

If you are using win XP try to restart the machine then as soon as the machine restarts press F8 on the keybaord the machine will give you a few option choose start in safe mode the machine will start up then go into the control panel then look for user accounts then choose the account then say click change account take out the username and the password and click ok then restart the machine this sould work
