How do I get all the factors of a constant using my calculator?

There is a program on page 253 of the manual (http://support.casio.com/manualfile.php?rgn=5&cid=004002013) to get the prime factors of any number. You could modify the program to get all the factors.

Another way would be to do it manually. I start with the number 1 and go up to the square root of the number. The square root of 120 is 10.95, so let's go up to 11. Using 120 as an example:

120 /1 = 120 thus factor is (1, 120)
120/2 = 60 thus factor is (2, 60)
120/3 = 40 thus factor is (3, 40)
120/4 = 30 thus factor is (4, 30)
120/5 = 24 thus factor is (5, 24)
120/6 = 20 thus factor is (6, 20)
120/7 = 1.7 thus 7 not a factor
120/8 = 15 thus factor is (8,15)
120/9 = 13.3 thus 9 is not a factor
120/10 = 12 thus factor is (10,12)
120/11 = 10.9 thus 11 is not a factor.

Good luck.

Computer Slowing Down???

We all have been feeling that our computers/laptops are slowing down gradually. There are a number of reasons for this phenomenon.
1. The slow processor. It seems that you have outgrown your computer and when you change the processor to a faster one, there is no guarantee that you will not outgrow this one too. Hence no one can help you overcome this problem as this will become recurring.
2. Fragmented HDD. The programs and data are written in chunks and not in one large piece. Thus it takes that many more moves of the read/write head of the HDD to read/write them. And that much more time. So we defrag the HDD to put them in as large a chunk as possible and thus save moves and time.
3. The bloated Windows Registry. This is a place that keeps track of all programs and devices installed on the computer. You install more programs or devices, it becomes fatter and fatter. And takes more time to read. Then you uninstall some programs or devices. Yes, some portion of the uninstalled program is removed but not all. Thus this debris keeps collecting and over the time (read programs) the registry keeps getting fatter. So what do we do? Simple. Clean it. Remove all the debris left by the uninstalled programs/devices. How? Use a registry cleaner. Yes, download one free today from sites like www.ccleaner.com. (Search Google for more sites offering free Registry cleaners. Follow the link as a guideline to search Search for Drivers Online.) A free, small program that install on your computer/laptop and when run, cleans the registry and also removes some other junk from your computer that you do not need.
My laptop had started taking more than 20 minutes to boot. And after using this cleaner it now gallops like a new one.
Try it.

How do I figure a mean?

Add the numbers together, then divide by the number of numbers.

For example, to figure the mean of 3, 4, and 5, add 3, 4, and 5 to get 12. Divide by the 3 and get 4. Thus the mean of 3, 4, and 5 is 4.

Grundig s350, installed new batteries and radio keeps shutting off by itself

When you press the Power/Sleep button the radio turns on and displays a number 90, or some other numbers. This is the play time that the radio will stay on then turns itself off. It could be that yours is configured with a sleep timer set to 01 minute, 10 or 15. You need to set the timer for a longer period. Thus we turn it on by pressing the Power/Sleep button, read the timer length then press again. Keep making short presses: The timer will cycle through all preset sleep timer durations. Select the length you want.

Clearing display

The M1 in the display remind you that the M1 memory contains a number that is not equal to 0. So, to get rid of M1, M2, or M3, you shoild store the value 0 in them.
0 [STO] 1 stores 0 in M1, and thus erases its contents: M1 disappears
0 [STO] 2 stores 0 in M2, and thus erases its contents:M2 disappears
0 [STO] 3 stores 0 in M3, and thus erases its contents:M3 disappears.

2000 HUSKY TE410 -Valve Adjustment - Help

One, you need the original husky shims, unless you are a machinist and familiar with Rockwell hardness ratings. You don't sound like one so you are going to the shop. If you are not fond of driving back and forth to the shop, and paying large amounts of money on shims, let me make a suggestion. You have a thumper, but you have four valves on that cylinder, so proceed as follows. Rotate your engine to first valve. Uae your feeler gauges and measure how much thicker a valve you need, and check out what size shim you have. They pop right out. Write all this down. If you find a valve is too tight, put a thinner one in from another valve. go all the way around. If you are lucky, you will find something like this #1 has a 405 and is .005 too tight, thus needs a 400. #2 has a 410 and is .010 too looose, thus needs a #420. #3 has a 400 and is .010 too loose, thus needs a 410. #4 has a 390 and is .015 too loose, thus needs a 405. Put the shim from #3 in #1, put the shim from #1 in #4, put the shim from #2 in #3 ) and the only thing you need to buy is the #420 shim for #2. Be sure to install the shims with the number side down, or yo will have to measure them with a micrometer. (those are probably all the wrong numbers, but the shim valve adjusting method was really all the same except for the details.) By the way, keep the #410 shim from your changing episode. The only one who undertood it right away was my wife who started letting me in onwho was gaining weight. It turns out that everyone swapped clothes when gaining or losing weight. Now that was a system that was confusing......
