Question about HP Computers & Internet
When I turn this on the "windows did not start successfully" page comes up and starting normally looks like it is going to load XP BUT when it goes to load the hard drive clicks and a brief shot of a blue screen appears and then goes blank nothing! Safe mode just starts showing a bunch of partition lines and then when it stops it goes blank again, this happens on all the safe modes. I have an "Operating System CD" and a"Driver Recovery CD" and they do absolutely nothing when I put them in the CD and start the computer, the CD is running I can hear it but nothing comes up on the screen. Does anyone know what is the mater here?? Thanks John
Firstly hdd's shouldn't click. Purchase a new hdd set your BIOS to boot from CD drive, install XP from your disc.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
