When i connected my pc to my digihome 48" smart tv the pc screen is too big, how do i adjust it ?

You may have to change the monitor to a diffrent type like what the digiscreen is and/or change the digiscreen input and output
It may be you need to change to higher output on the tv

look for screen settings of screen format on tv

First see what you can change the pc output too, depends on your video card and cable, if using hdmi, it should allow high output.

TV won't recognize PC through HDMI port anymore

Thanks for all the background, super detailed! I had a similar problem on a new Samsung that was really flaky with my HDMI from a raspberry pi. Would have to do all kinds of unplugging, cycling power etc like you're doing to get it to work. Once on it would work until I turned the tv off (actually doesn't turn off, but goes to sleep) and back on. Finally figured out that the resolution I was outputting wasn't supported, BUT sometimes it would work. Once I changed the resolution to a supported resolution it worked all the time.

After 2 seconds my monitor HP w1907v is switching off itself and there's no way to bring it back to life again. If i switch off and on again the monitor shows images for 2 seconds and then dies. I...

Well the monitor obviously works, so I see no reason to open the case on the monitor especially because there are no user serviceable parts within the case. my sugestion is to try the monitor on another PC if that yeilds the same results then I am wrong and the problem lies with the monitor. I believe the are two types of connections for this monitor shane_barnha_2.jpg VGA and DVI shane_barnha_0.png
Next step is to try the one that you have not tried yet if that fixes it then the problem lies in the output conection on the back of PC the input connection on bottom of monitor or the cable itself. If there isn't a second connection like I think then the next option would be to try another monitor, which if you do not have available can be achieved by using most new flat screen TV's If you have a TV With the same conection Just move the PC or TV close enough to try, Use your remote to change TV input to PC then turn TV off connect cable turn TV on and start up your PC if this works you will need to have your monitor repaired or replaced.

Thumbs Up if helpful, Feedback is Appreciated!!!
Good Luck!!!

How do you hook up the tv to a pc? I have the cable but I cannot get the tv to recognize the pc?

You will want to make sure that your TV is set to the same input that you are using to connect your PC to the TV. From the PC side, depending on whether you are using a laptop or a desktop PC, you will have to change the output so that the computer will output to the correct connecter.

If you are using a laptop, there is usually an F key that will allow you to switch from the built in display to either an external device, or both internal and external. The F key in question will usually have an icon on it that will look like a monitor screen. Pressing that F key at the same time as your Fn key should allow you to switch the outputs.

If you are using a desktop computer you will have to right click on a blank spot of your desktop and choose Display Properties from the menu that appears. You will then choose the Settings tab, and then the Advanced button. This should bring up your graphic cards control program. Again, depending on what type of graphic card you are using you should see a tab called Monitor. Some graphic cards will also have special tabs with a heading like Display or something similar. On this tab you should then be able to choose your output from the normal monitor you use to an external monitor. Your desktop will then start feeding the graphic signal through that output rather than the one you would normally use.

If this information doesn't quite resolve your issue please post another question but specify what kind of computer you are using, what type of graphic card you have, and what output on your computer you are trying to use. I will then be able to give you specific instructions for your setup.

No picture on LCD say turn off camera try again .but all function are properly in working position

If you're trying to get your laptop onto your tv, often you need to change the video output. For example, i have a dell inspiron, so i need to hold down the 'Fn' button, then F8(CRT/LCD) to change the output.

I have a relisys lcd tv and its connected to the hdmi output mode but i want to connect my computer to it using a vga cable and once i plug it in nothing happens and i cant change the mode of the tv

if you have a PC input to your LCD panel, connect the VGA cable at both ends (one to PC and the other to LCD TV), Only after the connection switch on the PC not before.
Make sure your Computer Display settings - Resolution not more than 1020x780. If so reduce and then try.

I am trying to hook my PC to my HDTV. I both a cable VGA/SVGA cable to do that. I am having problems trying to see my pc screen on the tv, what can I do to make it work.

First turn off TV+PC. Then switch on TV only.Press TV/AV on your remote to AV2 or .. Now switch on your PC. It will detect your TV as a new hardware & install the drivers automatically. You can use options from your graphic card later such as dual monitor or clone monitor..

Connecting an Acer 6920G to a LCD TV

Unfortunately, DVI doesn't support audio. Your headphone output may work if you have a PC audio input on the TV. However, you might need to change the audio output on the Acer 6290G. It is probably defaulting to using the HDMI audio output.

Go to the Control Panel (click on Start). Select the Hardware and Sounds section. In Sounds, look for Manage Audio Devices. Change the Default Audio Device to a different Audio device (look for Output in the description). Note: you may need to turn off the computer and TV and turn them both on for the headphone jack cable to be identified.

If this doesn't work, check the manual for the TV. It might only have the PC audio connection available for a VGA port. Please add a comment with the TV model, if you need assistance with this step. Make sure that you aren't connecting the headphone out of the 6920G to a headphone out on the TV.

I hope this helps.

Connecting laptop to hd tv

IMake sure that you have the laptop for an VGA OUTPUT. When you toggle between the function keys. When your laptop LCD goes out it is in VGA OUT mode....when you toggle again it should be in LCD/VGA OUT (both TV and laptop should display). You need to set the TV to VGA mode as well...otherwise you might not get an output. If you still have a problem then test on a regular monitor to see if you are getting an output to the monitor

IF THIS HELPS PLEASE VOTE.....GOOD LUCK AND THANKS..

Pc to tv

Try changing the resolution on you computer. That TV may not handle the current resolution setting. You may also have to do something on your computer to turn on the rgb output.
