CB warning antenna on a cobra 29 lx camo

You may have blown out the output transistor in the CB. Can you still calibrate the swr meter? The K 30 isn't really a very good antenna. The Lil Will isn't either. I'd try a K-40 or a better model Wilson antenna.

Antenna not working anymore?

talk with a tv technician as to the capabilities of the tv set but you may need a better outdoor antenna if the signal has changed from am to digital or fm in your viewing area

This indicates your signal from that network is too weak. If your antenna and cabling are OK, you may need a digital signal amplifier.

To really check this out thoroughly, you need a digital signal strength meter, or a service tech. Ebay has a lot of them

PS3 wireless keeps dropping out. Signal strength is 50-60%

This strength is not able to hold a 'good' connection. It will drop over and over.

If this is your own connection, be sure that you are within 10 meters or so, depending on your antenna, from the modem.

Also, reset your modem for a few seconds (if this is your own connection).

I do auto programing some chanels get program some don't

Hello
Check first your set top box's, or TVs antenna or ariel connection is tight or not. It it is Ok, if you are receiving signals from cable, ask the cable operator to check the signal strength at the cable end of your home. It is measure with a 'db' meter. If the strength of the received signal is very weak, the same channels should not mamorized, and strong signal channels only will lock in. If you are using external antena, try to reorient its postion.
Anyway your TV doesn't get sufficient signal strength.

Am/fm radio stations not clear... I have the AM antenna attached... but there is no attachment for FM

First of all check for any nearby source of interference.....Move your unit away from all computers, fluorescent lights, neon lights, microwaves, cell phones, and cell phonemag-glass_10x10.gif chargers. These devises tend to produce noise in the medium frequency band, where AM radio is broadcast.
If the unit plugs into the wall with a nonpolarized plug (where both prongs are the same size), try reversing the plug inmag-glass_10x10.gif the outlet. Moving the plug to another outlet might help, too.
check for fault in the antenna lead, (common) or bad earth on the antenna to body
If you don't have an antenna connected to your FM receiver,With a receiver or tuner, connect a wire-loop or T-shaped dipole FM antenna to the back of your unit. Move the antenna until you get the cleanest signal. Use a signal-strength meter or display to gauge signal strength if your unit has one.
  • Step 2 If you're still not getting a good signal, try an indoor amplified antenna, which you'll find at an electronics store. Don't buy one unless you get a guarantee that you can return it for full credit if it doesn't solve your reception problems.
  • Step 3 If your signal is weak because you live a long way from the transmitter, install an outside antenna and mount it as high as is practical. If you're primarily interested in getting signals from one station or from a group of stations in one direction, get a directional antenna and point it toward the transmitters.
  • Step 4 If you're using a portable FM radio where the only antenna is the power cord, stretch the cord as straight as possible and experiment with positioning again.
  • Step 5 Temporarily switch to monaural mode to improve a weak signal on an FM receiver.

Tried to rescan after digital change over and it wont keep the signal, i have digital tv and digital ariel

Sounds like you have weak signal in your area, unlike analog TV , if the signal strength is below a certain level it will completely reject channals, try a standard antenna with two rabbit ears and a loop. If your TV has a signal strength meter you can watch that while adjusting the antenna.

You may be able to get an external antenna for it; check where the existing antenna connects to see if it can be removed. If not, raising the elevation of the access point will help. Also, be sure to place the access point away from thick walls or metal.
