It has a mains-power supply with a stepped down voltage. which has a jack which fits into the unit. see the illustration. the supply is on the right of the unit.

How to charge camera

You don't. The Kidizoom uses four standard AA batteries, either disposable or rechargeable. If you use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a standard battery charger. Rechargeable batteries and battery chargers should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store.

Revive drill driver battery packs

Rechargeable batteries do have a lifespan, they won't recharge forever. If you have fully discharged the batteries then fully recharged them and they still don't have full power or they only last a couple minutes then they are done. If they won't charge or the charger shows them as defective, the only fix is to replace them.

How do i charge a vivicam 8690

You don't. The 8690 uses three standard AAA batteries. You can use disposable alkaline or lithium batteries, or rechargeable NiMHs. If you choose to use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a separate battery charger.

I bought a 4 pack aa nimh2700 mah brand new sit for a long time without using them now they don't charged what can i to make them work?

  • Rechargeable batteries get old and can loose effectiveness after sitting for a while. You could have a charger problem as well. If you have another charger laying around you can see if the batteries take a charge with a different charger. But, even with rechargeables, they do go stale. If you buy new rechargeables make sure they are "fresh" as buying outdated rechargeable batteries can be a waste of many as many don't work. Buy from a reputable place as well. So many rechargeables from over seas are just not worth a dang.

  • Hope this helps.

Two brand new Hitachi BSL1815X Lithium Batteries won't recharge (UC18YGSL charger and DS 18DSAL drill)

These batteries have big problems that Hitachi doesn't address very well. Unlike NiCad batteries, Lith-Ion ones must be periodically used and recharged to retain their battery functions, i.e. if they have been sitting on the shelf at a store for an extended period of time, chances are they will be dead when bought and will not accept a charge. If they go dead i.e. no little red light on the charger when you plug the battery unit in...it's basically junk.

If you can return them or exercise the warranty do so. If / when you get new ones DO NOT completely discharge them like you would NiCads. Lith-Ion batteries do not have the "battery memory" issues that NiCads have which means you don't lose running time if you don't fully discharge the battery unit prior to recharge. Completely discharging before recharge will ultimately kill them. Use the 1815X till almost dead and then charge it. It is also recommended Lith-Ion batteries not be stored fully charged i.e. charge the 1815X fully, drive a couple bolts or screws, remove the battery unit and then put it away. Do not leave battery unit plugged into the tool when you put the tool away. This will discharge and kill the battery unit.

There are non-Hitachi substitute batteries now on the market. I'm guessing the same precautions apply but I don't own one of the replacements so I don't truly know.

The actual batteries in the Hitachi BSL 1815X are Sanyo UR18650SAX lithium ion batteries. Lithium Ion cells aren't all that easy to get commercially because of handling & safety requirements. Not certain if you can take apart the 1815X and swap out the bad Sanyo cells.

My camera's screen is blank. It does not seem to view the scene. It takes black pictures.

Don you hear it function when you press the shutter? Does it start up in any way when you turn it on? Knowing whether or not it is an expensive camera or a more "point & shoot" would be helpful. Are they rechargeable batteries? It coud be as simple as your batteries (rechargeable) have worn out. If it is not the batteries, well, time for a new camera. Batteries are the only thing you can address, provided they are removeable.
