The remote is doing its job, but you have an issue in the starting system. Battery, starter, etc.

My Craftsless GDO will let me program only 1 remote or keyless entry at a time. I purchased a "NEW" logic board and installed it. Still have the SAME issue.

WHEN YOU PROGRAM THE FIRST REMOTE YOU CLEAR THE CODES BY HOLDING DOWN THE BUTTON FOR 30 SECONDS.
THEN PRESS AND RELEASE THE BUTTON, HOLD DOWN THE REMOTE BUTTON FOR 20 SECONDS OR UNTIL YOU HEAR A CLICK.

WHEN YOU PROGRAM THE SECOND REMOTE DO NOT HOLD DOWN THE PROGRAM BUTTON. JUST PRESS AND RELEASE THE BUTTON. HOLD DOWN THE REMOTE BUTTON FOR 20 SECONDS OR UNTIL YOU HEAR A CLICK.

YOU CAN PROGRAM UP TO 10 REMOTES ON SOME OF THE NEW OPERATORS. IF YOU HOLD DOWN THE PROGRAM BUTTON IT ERASES ALL CODES AND YOU HAVE TO START OVER.

HOPE THIS HELPS

STEVE.

Sometimes when I press the starter button, my car with crank for a little bit, then won't start but the car is still on. I normally press the starter button again to turn off the car, then press it again....

These issues can both be solved through programming. The crank time needs to be extended and the door locks (may) need to be set to double pulse. Can you unlock the doors by pressing the unlock button twice within one second?

Please read all the way through to familiarize yourself with the process before beginning.

Let's try the programming; you will need the vehicle key and the remote. The control/programming switch is located in the antenna on the windshield.

Turn the key on then off; press and hold the control button on the antenna to select the menu. One honk of the horn/flash of the parking lights indicates menu one(1). Now, press and release the button five (5) times (door lock pulses), then press and hold the button. While holding the control button on the antenna, press the lock button on the remote once. You should hear two horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. The system is now set for double pulse unlock. DO NOT RELEASE THE CONTROL BUTTON.

We will now advance to the third menu; release the control button, immediately press and hold the control button. After three seconds the system will begin to advance to the next menu. You will hear two horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. Continue to hold the control button to advance to the third menu. You will hear three horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. Now, press and release the control button three times, then press and hold the control button. While holding the control button, press and release the lock button on the remote. You should hear two horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. Two flashes/horn honks is .8 seconds cranking time. Release control button. Turn ignition on to exit programming/learn routine. Test the system.

If after testing the system , you require a longer cranking time; re-enter the programming/learn routine, menu three, option three and press the lock button on the remote once to advance to one(1) second cranking time.

The programming/learn routine exits if the ignition is turn on, the control button is pressed too many times or there is no activity for 30 seconds.

The garage door won't open, but the led comes on both the remote and the opener when I click it.

The led button on the remote tells you that the remote is sending a code and the led on the motor tells you that a code is being received, but any remote you press by it will flash this. First if you have a premium wall button make sure the vacation lock is not engaged. To turn it on/off press and hold the lock button on the wall button. Then try it. If this is not it then try to reprogram the remote. Press the colored learn button on the motor unit by the led. Then press the button on the remote. If these tips do not work then you will need either a new logic board or an external receiver in the same frequency as the remote. Thanks BB

After installing a rs 1100 in a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, the unit would just keep clicking (internal relays). I've been doing this type of installations for quite some time now (20 yrs) so I'm somewhat...

Your trailblazer has a passlock 2 antitheft system, this is what the problem is, also If you have a 4 button remote, you must ground the black/blue hood pin wire (raise hood if hood switch is installed). Apply 12volts to blue/black brake wire (press and hold brake pedal if wire is installed). Press and hold any button on your remote until clicking and flashing stops. Unit will now respond to the remote. Remove ground from hood pin wire and voltage from brake wire. If you have a 2 button remote, hold brake and press any button on the remote until clicking and flashing stops.
