Once you have logged into your old Facebook account, go into 'Settings' then go to 'Security' and by clicking 'Deactivate Account', your old Facebook account will be closed. You can then access your current account.
You can never go back to old passwords Claire, they are specifically barred. If a password is compromised, going back to it will not keep you secure at a later date as criminals sell list of accounts and passwords.
You might like to do what I do. Keep your special password and make the first letter a capital and then add the current year. So say 'Monitor2016'. Then in January next year, you would change them all to 'Monitor2017'. Changing it every year keeps the organisations happy and the password as listed is STRONG!
Google Email: Can't log in or access anything Google:
Hello. Yes, once you log into your Google Account, you will have access to all things Google. Without that account login you will not be able to access anything Google related except Google Internet Search.
As a temporary fix, so that you have access to Google Services, create a new Google account.. Settings>General>Accounts>Add Account>Google
so, think of another name you can create the new Google account to be.. I would pick your last name first then first name and a number (eg: LastFirst87@Gmail.com)
i would use the same password or a password you can easily remember for the time being so that you don't get mixed up/confused
then use this new Gmail account to temporarily get Google services back. it won't be your original account with all your data, but at least it allows you access NOW to whatever you need it for (like to access Google Play Store so that you can install an application to use on your smartphone)
on a piece of paper or in a notepad app on your phone, write down your new Temporary use Gmail account name and password, so that you don't forget and so you can login again if need to. (We will log out when we try to fix your original account)
when you find time we can try to get back into your old account so that you can access your emails, phone contacts, etc that's stored in your original Gmail account
CreateNewGoogleAcct.mp4 (note: depending on the device used, manufacturer, Android software firmware version#, and cellular service provider.. the settings menu system may look a little different. Keep this in mind when following instructional tutorials of a different device then yours)
Procedure to: GET BACK INTO YOUR ORIGINAL GMAIL ACCOUNT:
Open your internet browser:
If you forgot your password, you can reset it, go here: Having trouble signing in
(to reset password, OR to get a hint to remember username)
(if need to, you can use your new alternate temporary Gmail account to have Google contact you)
or, you can use this Google Access Troubleshooting form: can access my account
(it looks like the image below)
** After you reset your password, then Go back to your phone settings: Settings>General>Accounts>Google.. Click on your original account name (not your new temp account) and enter your new password you reset to for your old account
*** You should be able to get back into your original account.. If YES!
..then we need to remove the temp account, so that we don't get confused and everything is back to normal.
(you can keep this info for your temp account login somewhere in case you need it again if want. or, use it as a dummy email for telemarketers, people who want your contact but you don't want to talk to, etc)
Go back to: Settings>General>Accounts>Google
tap on your temporary Gmail account name/address
Tap on the 3 dots (upper right corner):
Select "Remove account"
If you can't find you original account, that would indicate it has gone, been deleted. Just carry on with your new account.
If you can find your old account by searching for your name or if you have an old email that mentions the website address of your old account, you can try and access it from there. If you do find it, report is as being stolen from you and ask them to close it permanently.
You can even delete the whole account, but don't access it within 14 days, because if you do so, they keep the account "alive".
First try to delete as much as you can from the old account, so nothing can pop up after years.
see the link how to: How do permanently delete my account

Sir, I just want to know if you have used your new account to log in on different sites that you use to visit? If yes, I would suggest visiting every possible sites that you have linked with it and close that account too. Cause every time you will be log-in those sites your new Facebook account will be reinstated. In case you sir, you have not use it to other sites, You will have to close this new account and need not to access your Facebook with the same email address you use with your first Facebook account. It is going to take you 15 days before it finally deleted. REMEMBER: don't access your Facebook account, cause if you do it will be reinstated, no matter what you use to sign, old or new account. Just don't do anything. You can follow these procedure to delete your account Delete My Facebook Account
Please comeback to me after 15 days and let me know If you need further assistance.
When Facebook was founded on February 4, 2004, it defined its mission as "Giving people the power to share and make the world more open and connected." With the widespread success of this social networking website today -- more than 500 million regular users as of April 2011 -- it may meet that goal for many. When a Facebook user can no longer access an account, it can be frustrating, but there is typically a reasonable explanation.
Cookies/Cache Facebook suggests that any user who can't access their account should clear cookies and cache on their computer as a first step. This will help remove old and unneeded files from your computer, and will sometimes help your computer to run faster, as well as allowing access to Facebook again. Once cookies and cache have been cleared, you should type "m.facebook.com" into the address bar on your computer. Avoid using any old bookmarks or links to visit Facebook for this first visit after clearing the cookies and cache. Password Incorrect If you attempt to log into your Facebook account with an incorrect password, you will be unable to access your account. Even if you have the correct email address, that is only half of the log-in equation, and the correct password is absolutely necessary to log into the site. If you may have entered the wrong password, enter it again, taking care to get each character correct. Passwords are case sensitive, so all capital and lowercase letters and any symbols must be entered correctly. If you have forgotten your password, you will need to click the "Forgot Your Password" link to recover your account and create a new password. Account Closed Facebook reserves the right to close accounts that they have determined are in violation of their terms of service. If Facebook found that your account contained inappropriate content, did not represent a real person, or violated Facebook rules in some way, the account may be closed, leaving you unable to access it. If your account was closed for one of these reasons, your login will fail and you will be provided with a link to Facebook's "Confirm Your Identity" page, where you can read about typical reasons for account closures. Email Login Incorrect If you have entered the incorrect email address, you will be unable to log into your Facebook account. The email address that you use to log into Facebook is case sensitive, just as your email address is. If you fail to capitalize a letter or forget to insert an underscore that is part of the email address, log in will fail. If you cannot access your Facebook account due to an incorrect email address, double checking the address for correctness prior to logging in again will resolve the issue. Compromised Account If account information such as your email address or password is stolen, your account may be compromised. If, for example, your account information is stolen, the person in possession of your log-in information can access your account and change the password so that you will no longer be able to get to your account. If you think this may have happened, you must access the "Compromised Account" page on Facebook and follow steps to prove your identity and secure your account.
