Question about Canon PowerShot S3 IS Digital Camera
Canon Powershot S3 IS -
Took quite a few pictures in Continuous mode and reviewed them multiple times - even turning the camera on and off. When I tried to access the pictures with the SD card in the computer, none of the pictures were there. Previous pictures taken without Continuous mode were still there.
1. Where did they go?
2. Does something need formatting?
3. Why would I initially see them and then they disappear?
Here is what I would do...
I am assuming that you are using an external memory card reader that plugs into USB and that you are only seeing a portion of what the card contains.
Plug the camera directly into your USB port using the USB cable that came with your camera. (Or one like it. Whatever. :P) See if Windows is able to see the images that way instead of using your memory card reader.
If you are able to see the images that way, back the images up onto your computer from the camera.
Use the camera itself to format the card. Make sure to do a "LOW LEVEL FORMAT" when you do.
