Question about Amazon Computers & Internet
A few things - gone through Amazon on two occasions -so far no satisfaction. I wish to return this item because it was not what I ordered in the first place. I will not pay for return postage as this is you mistake.
If it is UNOPENED you can put refused and they will have to pay the return shipping. If you opened it, then it's considered a new parcel and you need to pay shipping. Even if you open the envelope attached to the front.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Check the sellers return policy. If they accept returns call them to gain the specifics on returning the extra item, they may charge you a restocking fee(which, in itself is bogus).

Go to www.Amazon.com, click on "Help" link in the top left, look for where it says "Most Popular Help Topics" and then click on where it says "Returns and Refunds". The information you seek should be there.

You can check all this in your amazon account and you can return goods once there not opened and returned within 30 days.

These types of things can really be annoying. How did you pay- through a debit card or Paypal?
Contact your bank if you paid through debit or credit card, and explain the situation to them, and they can probably cancel payment, and you can refuse delivery. Keep trying to get hold of Amazon and save emails, etc., to prove your intent. If you paid through Paypal, you might be able to get your bank to stop payment, if your Paypal balance isn't much. Otherwise, you will have to get a refund from Amazon, when you can get through to them. It might take awhile, in that case, so don't stress over it, that never helps. Just be patient, and they will make it right with persistence. I often just let things like this go, since it takes more time and energy than it's worth, it seems.
Good luck, hope you get your money back, and hope this advice helps.
