Question about Magnavox Dv220mw9 Dvd Vhs Vcr Combo Player
Tried different hook ups to no avail, changed cables position. Used the comp hook also the basic dvd vcr hook up still vcr not showing picture you can hear that it is running.
Most combination VHS/DVD decks ,including the Magnavox DV220MW9, have component (3 wire) and composite (5 wire) outputs. The composite out will work with both VHS and DVD. The component output will work only with DVD. So if you have connected you VHS/DVD deck to your TV using the component jacks, then you will be able to see only DVD.
The component output produces a better picture for DVD. Consider using component for DVD playback and composite for VHS playback.
