If you're taking stills it is most likely the shutter sound. If you're hearing a steady click when shooting video it might be some sort of timing click to let you know how long you've been recording (i.e. one click per second). Either way, you should be able to turn it off in the camera's settings menu.

Blank roll of film

Two possible problems:

1. Film did not wind on. 2. Shutter not opening.

Easy to test with camera back open. Load a film and fire the shutter a few times each time with winding on, to see if film is winding correctly, at the same time you should be able notice if the shutters are firing, eight of them in succession makes a bit of noise.

Tamron lens makes a clicking noise

It is dealing with the films. when closing the lens in the fabric, the electrical film changed its position to an unwanted situation. This makes noise sometimes. It is not important for functinality of the lens. But it only gives you an unwanted noise. There is nothing to do because film dries as the times passes. It needs to be changed but is not cheap. So it is better to go on to use it.

Blinking 0 on my minolta maxxum 5 after I loaded the film. I cant take any pics.

It did not load your film. open the back, be sure you have the film pulled across the opening to the far side of the take-up spool, and close the back again. It should make noise as it winds the film, then number 1 should appear in the top window. If it does not make noise and advance film, you likely need the film advance motor replaced. Every time you close the back, it will try to advance film.
The motor itself can die and those plastic gears can break teeth. If repositioning the film does not work, your maxxum needs a trip to the repair shop.

Camera makes noises direct after inserting new

I'd be worried if it didn't. It's completely normal on the MZ-7.

Loud grinding noise when I "****" the film.

kyle_walsh,
does this noise happen with film loaded or all the time?
this could be a broken gear or the take-up spool is slipping. with the film door opened advance the lever and check if the take up spool is turning. if not turning then a gear is broken. if the spool is turning then the spool is slipping.
there are no new parts available for the K1000, however some camera repair shops have good used parts that can be used.
the take-up spool was one of the very few weak parts of the K1000, you can make a temp. repair if you want.
on the take-up spool push down lightly on the gear like wheel and rotate the spool you should see a hairline crack under where the film is inserted. check both sides. if you find the crack put a very small amount of super glue on the crack using a tooth pick or similar tool. this works 80% of the time.
if you take or send your K1000 to a camera repair shop get an estimate first.
