Hot water will not run into top loading machine.

Is this a new install? Has it worked before and now it doesn't? Did you let it run long enough to confirm that there was ample opportunity for the hot water from your heater to make its way into the machine? If you turn off the hot tap and the only solenoid that is opening is the cold, then there is a problem with the machine.

Descaling Single Boiler Home espresso machines (HOME SINGLE BOILER ESPRESSO MACHINES)

Approximately every 3 months (depending on your use and the water hardness), clean the machine with natural citric acid based decalcifying agent.
1. Add a descaling solution into the water reservoir. Mix thoroughly to dissolve (use warm water for better results).
2. Remove the filter holder and place a cup under the group head and another cup, or other container, under the steam wand to catch cleaning solution.
3. Turn espresso machine on, turn coffee pump on and run approximately 8 oz. of solution through the brew head. Turn machine off and let the machine sit for 15 minutes.
4.Run approximately 8 oz. through the steam wand, and again, turn machine off and let sit for 15 minutes.
Repeat by allowing solution to run alternately through the steam wand and brew head. Turn espresso machine off after each cycle. Repeat process until solution has been run through.
5. Do not leave espresso machine on. Do not wait for the ready light to come on. Do not use the steam switch during this process. Do not allow reservoir to run empty!
6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly with fresh water. Refill reservoir with fresh water. Run half a tank of fresh water through group head, alternating between group head and steam wand.

Francis francis X1 the water supply seems to be lacking pressure

I would go ahead and run a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar and 50% water through the machine. If the machine still runs slow after that, pour another 50/50 vinegar/water solution into there - let it run just enough so that the vinegar water starts to drip out, then cut the machine off. Let the vinegar/water sit in the machine for about 20 minutes. Then cut the machine on and let the rest of the solution run through. Then run plain water through the machine to clear out the vinegar. Try brewing a batch and see if the machine behaves normally.

If the above fails to resolve the issue, the FrancisFrancis machines are now owned by illy, so would need to contact them for further TS.

Water not filling up properly

More than likely, you have a problem with the filter screen in the hot water valve behind the machine.  Turn the hot water off and remove the hose connection to washer.  Check the filter screen inside the water valve to make sure that there is no debris blocking it.  You can pull the screen out and rinse through with water.  Also, hold the screen up into the light to see if you can see through the screen clearly.  You may want to use an old toothbrush to clean it out.  Reassembly the filter screen back into the water valve.
Get a small bucket and run the water through to clear out any debris in the water line.  Reconnect the water hose to the washer and try starting the machine.  If you still have water issues, then a qualified LG technician is needed to find the problem.

It means you have an airlock in the water system. It can occur when you refill the water tank also.
Quite often you can run the hot water nossle untill the airlock clears. You will hear it splatter and then it should be sweet to go.

Maytag Bravos MVWX700XL2 won't spin the clothes and is making a weird whining/whirling noise when attempting to do so. Hi, I have a Maytag Bravos MVWX700XL2. It's about five years old. For about a year now, it would occaisinally make a weird noise while washing that seemed to come from the agitator working. I know this sounds funny, but the noise sounded like a chittering squirrel. It didn't do it all of the time, just mostly when I would wash smaller loads. Today I noticed while doing the weekly laundry, that the agitator wasn't fully agitating. It was turning back and forth, but very slowly and not "mixing" the clothes like it usually does. I went though two loads like that, and on the third load, when it was time for the washer to rinse and spin, it started to make a whining/whirling noise and it would not spin out the clothes (but it did drain). The control panel is not giving an error code. I removed the wet clothes and tried to have it just rinse and spin or drain and spin empty and the strange noise continued w/o any success. I have a video of it making that noise that I can post/send if someone can tell me how. I paid over $500 for the washer, and I really don't want to have to replace it this soon, nor do I want a $300 repair bill. My husband is very handy and could fix it if we knew how to properly diagnose the problem so we get the correct part. Based on what I've read, could it be the shift actuator or a broken motor coupler?
