Have you checked the charger to see if it is working? Batteries are available. Should be a 6 volt gell cell.

Replacement batteries do not seem to be charging. Have checked they are the right sort of batteries. What am I doing wrong!?

The assumption is you replaced the batteries because you thought they were bad. It's highly possible the charger of your base is dead. If you have a voltmeter see if there's voltage (10% or more greater than the rated voltage of the battery). If not, it's the charger that's dead, not the batteries.

Kobo ereader problems

Unfortunately, the batteries on Kobo were not designed to be replaced. If the batteries will no longer accept a charge, it is time for a new e-reader.

Kindle does not charge properly

Let's try to reset the charger system.
Step 1: Unplug from the charger, press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds
Step 2: Plug into the charger. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
Step 3: Let charge for 12 hours
Step 4: Unplug form the Charger, run the Kindle until totally dead.
Step 5: When DEAD. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
Step 6: Plug into the charger, let charge normally
If this does not reset the charging system you have either a faulty Kindle or a faulty charger, contact Amazon for replacement.

The horn will beep, but the power meter shows no power on my pride go-go elite.

It sounds like the batteries have gone bad and need to be replaced. Very little power is needed to operate the horn, but much more is needed to make the motors work.

The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on a regular basis (at least 8 hours once a week) or it will oxidize and solidify. If you attach the charger, what will most likely happen is the green light will either stay green or go to green after a very short time. When you turn on the power chair, nothing happens. The charger will indicate the batteries are full, but instead of being full of power, they are full of crud. Your warranty will most likely not cover replacement as this is due to customer neglect, but your insurance may still cover the replacement batteries if you can wait for the process to go through. Otherwise, you will need to replace the batteries on your own, type U1, 24v 33 amp, approx. $125 each at Batteries Plus or Interstate Battery. Good luck!

It tells you to that you should charge the battery

The problem is your batteries are either over heating or worn out. You might also have a problem with the charger but you'll need Dewalt tech support to determine if it's good or bad.
The first thing to do is clean the contacts. Use a white plastic pencil eraser and clean all the contacts you can reach. If there are any contact you can reach with the eraser use a Q-tip that is just damp (not wet) with rubbing alcohol to clean them.
Discharge your batteries completely then put them in the freezer for 8-24 hours. Take the batteries out of the freezer and let the set 24-48 hours after that put them on the charger, they'll either charge or you need new batteries (more likely) or a charger.

Will not move when it is plugged in or plugged out.

It's designed NOT to move while on charge (so you don't drive off with the charger following you around!). It will, however light up, and indicate that it is on charge and can't be moved. After unplugging the charger, if it will not light up, then you most likely have dead batteries that won't take a charge and need to be replaced with the proper gel-sealed deep cycle batteries for you chair. Bost chairs take U-1, Group 22, or Group 24 batteries. You will need to remove the old batteries and take them in when you get the new ones to avoid a core charge, and protect the environment. They will give you a like-size battery to reinstall. Completely recharge the new ones for a couple of hours, and you are ready to go.

Ezip 150 electric scooter. won't start.

Hi, did you charge the batteries for at least 8 hours? Make sure that your charger has a RED Light When you plug it in, You should see Green light in 4-8 hours depending on the Batteries.
Secondly Your scooter batteries were dead when you got the Scooter, Judging from the fact you didn't get a Charger with it. I would recommend getting a voltmeter and checking the battery voltages. If the voltage is 11-12 volts, then you need new batteries. If this doesn't work check that fuse on the scooter it could be blown.

New battries won't charge.

Sounds like the batteries are completely dead, you'll probably need to replace them, sometimes you can only use batteries until they die, and that goes for Wheelchair Batteries too. If they won't charge or keep a charge then they are dead.

I have an Olympus c770 - the battery charger is not working. The light is not red or green and the battery has been the charger more than 24 hours yet when I put in the camera, the battery is still dead....

Either the charger is dead, or the battery is dead, or both are dead. You should take the charger to a dealer who has the batteries in stock and get everything checked. You may end up having to buy one or both.

The charger is using electronic sensing with a microcontroler. It is very difficult to simply check with a standard DVM. With the earlier generation of chargers we were able to do a simple check on these chargers.
