Question about Washing Machines
I have disassembled the washing pot from gearbox but the shaft of gearbox is attached or jammed to the rotating part inside the washing pot , can you help me? Thanks.
Use a bit of wood and a hammer to persuade it
the bearing your on about perhaps you need to heat up to loosen it off
perhaps its rusted shut so use some penitating oil spray like wd40 or better stuff
i also use the cold approch
here is a product ive used before with good sucess
called 'crack it' its a super cooler spray
this one on ebay is a 250ml can should be enough to do the job for you spray then wait a few seconds and a sharp tap to the center spindle
