How do I put a clean cycle on for a frigidaire affinity high efficiency top load washer?

Hello Tracy, thank you for your post!

From what you have described you need help putting your Frigidaire washer into a clean cycle. In order to further assist you I would need your model number. You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the door frame of your washer. With that information I would be happy to further assist you. -Matt

1 close washer door and dispenser drawer

The basket will rotate, then the door will unlock, lock again, then the cycle will continue
Water should come in and run a short sensing cycle about 3 minutes
4 This will determine item in the washer

Hello I have a washing machine EWX14440W and the green Start Pause LED light is flashing. I have cleaned the fluff filter, turned off the mains and turned it back on again, done a short dry cycle...

This is the manual on your machine. Unfortunately there is no info on the blinking light so I am assuming that it is a delayed start. Now remember this is a high efficiency machine so it may not seem like it is doing anything when it is. As far as the drying part is concerned, check your drying temp. selection.

Washer will start and then stop 5 seconds later. It will start again 2min later and stop 5 sec after that?

I have a front loading frigidaire washer which works fine. It starts and stops throughout the whole wash but gets the wash done. That is how it works.
Does your machine simply stop and not finish the wash? Or are you concerned about the length of time it takes to get the wash done?

Stopped on the rinse cycle an give the 5 ud message.

The Sud (5ud) error code indicates a suds lock. This is normally caused by excessive detergent causing too much suds. It can also be caused by not using HE (High Efficiency) detergent. Overloading the washer can also cause this problem. Try running a cycle with no clothes and no detergent added. See if suds emerge in the washer even though no detergent was added.

I don't really have a problem, except that my water bill is eating me alive. Approximately how much water does a full load in my 26912 with one rinse use? And how much water are newer models using on...

Most standard top loading washers have a 35 gallon tub capacity. If you go with a High Efficiency (HE) model washer, which can include the Oasis and Cabrio TOP LOADERS, and the Duet, Elite and Epic FRONT LOADERS, they use about 5 to 7 gallons. High Efficiency washers also do not have a continuous motor in action during agitation or tumble cycles, while most standard top loader have a drive motor that runs throughout the cycle. this can also cut down on the amount of electricity that is used. I hope this helps you.

The laundry is still wet after a normal wash cycle, because the machine doesn't get into the "high speed spin" (this has happened several times . . . have only had it 2 weeks). It has happened on full...

Since it can spin by selector then there is no problem with the spinning mechanism. Need to call warranty service to address the electronic sensor control.
