Do a reset to this TV. It will make it right. There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

SOURCE: I have a 42" Prima

Hi Howard,
It sounds to me the Power Supply Board is bad. You will need to get the numbers off the original board by taking the back off the set ( After unplugging the set of course) and the you can contact a board company ( Encompass Parts Distribution ) or any other company that you might find on the internet with your google search engine and order the board. Good luck with this problem.

SOURCE: lost remote for emerson lc320em8 32 in. lcd tv, how can i adjust the screen mode to get full screen without the remote?

Hello
It is immpossible to set its screen resolution or screen size, without it remote control. Try to get one original remote control, from the authorised service center for Emerson at your town, or buy a universal remote control, which have setup codes for Emerson TV with it. OK.

SOURCE: how do i to use my dvd player with this tv

First of all, thank you very much for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs.

The INPUT MODE required to view your DVD player will depend on what connector it is plugged into on the back panel of your TV.

See page 14 of the user's manual for a labelled diagram of the various input connections on the back of your set.

Then see page 18 of the users manual for detailed instructions on how to select the proper INPUT SOURCE for that connection.

Here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

http://www.vizio.com/documents/downloads/hdtv/E371VL/UM_E371VL.pdf

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and blue highlighted section of text just above.

This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this type of utility pre-installed.

You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.

Good luck and take care.

Joe.
