Question about Dell Office Equipment & Supplies
A document printed from Word on my Lenovo computer (Windows 7 Ultimate) is jumbled mix of different fonts and gives the printer the appearance that it is running out of ink. The same document printed from my Dell computer prints fine. Both computers use USB connection. Any fixes for this?

go to the start menu
click on run
on the list go to Print Spooler
double click on print spooler and select automatic on startup type
now press on start.
if that doesn't work go to this microsoft website and click on the Fix It icon with the little man holding a wrench. run this and it will fix it.

Unfortunately on their website it isn't listed as supported by windows 7. Also when a new operating system comes out there is always a lot of issues in the beginning. I have seen quite a few windows 7 problems of this nature. My first question would be did you run the setup in compatibility mode for windows vista? This would be the first thing to try.

I dont think this model has a Windows 7 driver. You can check the Microsoft hardware compatability list to see if your printer is listed.

You can use the Alternative Drivers to Print.
To Use the Alternative drivers, just follow the steps given below.
Go to devices and Printers
Select Add a Printer.
Click on Local Printer. Select Create a new port.
And Select Standard TCP/IP from the port list.
Enter the IP address of the Printer in Printer name or IPaddress. Click on next.
Make sure that you uncheck the automatically detect printer and install driver option.
Click Next. From the list of Manufacturer, select HP and from the list of Printers select Officejet 6500 wireless E709n. Click next.
Do not share this printer
try printing the test page.

I hope you do know that there are two windows 7 drivers for the printer, one is GDI and another is PDL. Would you mind letting me know which one you've installed?
If GDI isn't working, then PDL should work.
One more issue, if you've already install the previous windows versions' drivers for the printer, then that will cause problem in the system registry which means, you'll be unable to print using the printer. This is a very common. In this case, you'll need to uninstall all drivers or softwares related to the printer, run a registry cleaner and reinstall the fresh GDI or PDL driver for the printer.
You can download a registry cleaner from here (click here). Open the link, click the purple "Download Now" button, wait for about 20 seconds (watch the countdown timer and wait until it resets) and then click the purple "Download File Now" link, save it and install it (simple installation, just proceed forward in the manner "next", "yes" or "ok" and "finish"). After it's installed, open the program and click "Run cleaner", if you are asked with a confirmation message, click "Yes" or "Ok", wait for few seconds and click "Registry" when the cleaning is done. The "Registry" is on the left pane with blue icon, now on the middle column, click "Scan for issues" wait for another few seconds [or may be minutes] as the scanning progress runs and click "Fix selected issues" then, "No" and again "Fix all selected issues" and "close". ((Run the program after all the other programs are closed, otherwise it'll not be able to scan everything or fix all issues)) After it's done, close the program and restart your computer. Once it's restarted, again open the Ccleaner (the one you're gonna download from the above link) program and run the registry again.
When you are done, install the printer and try printing again. It should work now.
