Hello! About 2 weeks ago, the same problem began on my Hamilton Beach water dispenser.
Last week, I called the HB service support, and they told me to do the following reset procedure:
1. Dispense 3 cups from the HOT water side, and also, 3 cups from the COLD water side.
2. Turn BOTH back switches OFF (the ones on the back of the water dispenser).
3. Unplug the dispenser, and LEAVE it unplugged for 24 hours.
4. After 24 hours, turn the back switches ON and plug it in.
5. Leave it on for 4 hours WITHOUT dispensing any water.
...it's been about 12 hours since I've dispensed water again for the first time, and so far, SO GOOD! I'll update if the problems reappear.

I called a bunch of different numbers and finally found the people who can help with this. It's called Elite Group (877-383-6399) - I guess they're the ones licensing the Sunbeam name and making these water coolers. If you call that number with the model number, they'll replace the "top" part of the cooler, which should also have new taps, the lady said. The cost is $13.35

My water cooler is freezing up and stops the water from dispensing, If I unplug it it thaws but then refreezes.
I turned the screw on the back of the unit so that the water is not chilled to such an extreme cold and this did not solve the problem

I just put about six cups of white vinegar (not diluted) into the reservoir and let it sit for about an hour. Then I emptied that out and flushed a few pitchers of very hot water through. It seems to have worked quite well.

I have a hamilton beach water cooler with storage cabinet # 87330. The cold water is not cold and the cooling light stays on. What is the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks!

Tips for a great answer:

I would have tried to get you going as fast as possible, but when you have a business things are different. If you have any commercial equipment it is always good to have a source for answers. Model Numbers and Brand Names listed someplace where you know just what you have and know who to call without having to get into an expensive repair trap. I'm not saying that those that came out overcharged you but it does happen a good bit of the time. If I can help feel free to ask here or through my websites, Thanks, John Tripp/AKA Sea Breeze
