Antenna cable missing for Panasonic sa-pm42 stereo

The 75 ohm type use plugs and cables commonly used for TV aerials and Satellite dishes.
The 300 ohm type uses screw clip terminals where you attach a coloured cable.
All shown here: The FM socket with the thread on, uses a Satellite connector plug.

Xm check atenna connection

If you are getting the same "check antenna" message with two different antennas, it is likely that the tuner itself is the problem. You can get just the mini tuner here:

http://www.tss-radio.com/products/xm-mini-tuner-replacement-home-dock

As far as the two plug connection, there are adapters available. Its likely a dual fakra connection, though I don't know for sure. At any rate, this is one adapter available. (I would call to confirm)

My panasonic viera has just stopped working. I can play a dvd but not watch tv, It says no signal. I have checked all leads and none are loose. It worked yesterday!! What is wrong with it? Please help

What is your TV source? Is it OTA, cable or satellite? Do you use a set top box or a direct coax cable connection? If you have OTA, what antenna do you use?

Try the following depending on your setup:

For all, check if a lightning/surge protector has taken a surge and needs to be replaced. These are placed in the coaxial line to divert a surge that could destroy your electronics. Also try replacing the cables. Check exposed cable for damage.

For OTA, first check that your antenna is oriented to point to the transmitters in your area. (Outside antennas will sometimes turn in the wind; indoor ones can be bumped.) Try a new coaxial cable. If the antenna has an amplifier (or you use a splitter with or without an amplifier), try connecting the cable directly without the device. I've had several amplifiers fail and turn into signal filters (blocking all of the signal).

For any system with a set top box, make sure that the box is on. For satellite, make sure that your dish hasn't moved out of alignment.

To check if it is the Viera TV tuner or the incoming signal, try another TV at the same connection. If you have cable and another TV gets no signal directly connected to your incoming connection, you may need the company to fix the incoming cable. (Underground cables can be damaged by rodents or neighbors who dig without checking for utilities.)

I hope this helps.

I have a TT1620 but with the new HD antenna, I can not get the TruTech to find any channels.

Out of the several hundred reviews I've found on this product, exactly two gave it a passing grade. The vast majority of complaints were the flaky/useless tuner, and the flaky/useless DVD writer. The writer issue seems to be mitigated somewhat by using Memorex blank media. The tuner issue seems to be a design flaw. The only work around I've found has been to use the other inputs and use a cable or satellite box for tuning.

Sorry, but it sounds like you got one of the many duds. Wish I could offer more encouragement.

Trying to find another way to get over the air channels, without the air coaxial connection. all i have is the cable coax connection.

I know some things that can help...you should have a nice digital air tuner in yours...(my girlfriend has nearly the same identical TV, but larger)...anyway, first time I had it 'search' for channels, I accidentally let it tune both Air + Cable, and was surprised when it came up with as many channels over-the-air digital as my own TV did WITH digital air antenna! So, you can scan for both. Secondly, try this site--www.tvfool.com--no kidding, it lets you enter your zip code and antenna height, and it'll give you the various channels you might expect to receive, PLUS what kind of antenna(s) you'd have to buy to get the various types (that's right--'surprise', there are different types of digital signals, jeez)... Finally, go to 'www.monoprice.com' and buy one of their cheap-o (you'd think) but highly-valuable and quality digital air antennas (link at bottom of this post), or the RCA ANT751 antenna, or another good digital air antenna, and you'll have the best outfit you could hope for (unless you still have your old tower, and can put a good one, or larger one, on it!)... That Monoprice 'generic' digital air antenna is the exact same one as you'd pay $60+ for at Radio Shack (I've bought both--I know).... How do i connect my wii to my new samsung ue46d6530?

Input &
Output

HDMI 1.4 (3D Auto Setting/Return Channel):4
USB:3
Component In (Y/Pb/Pr):1
Composite In (AV):1(Common Use for Component Y)
Digital Audio Out (Optical):1
PC In (D-sub):1
CI Slot:1
SCART:1
RF In (Terrestrial / Cable input):1
RF In (Satellite input):1
Headphone:1
PC Audio In (Mini Jack):1
DVI Audio In (Mini Jack):1 (Common Use for PC Audio in)
Audio Out (Mini Jack):-
Ethernet (LAN):1

Initially I thought the problem was going to be no composite input on this television. However according to the specs there is one composite (yellow, white, red) input and that is where you connect the wii. Is the problem that you've already connected something to the one input and you're looking for another spot to connect the wii? There is a wii component cable http://www.amazon.com/Official-Wii-Component-Video-Cable-Nintendo/dp/B000JJRV90

HI. I have purchased 3 Nikkai A75HQ Freeview boxes from Maplin and cannot get them working with the respective TVs. Have connected via scart, gone through the installation process but the on-screen just...

You must use a good antenna installed in a good position on these receivers - those usual room portable antennas will not work. Or, if you have cable and it has free HD channels, split the cable and use it.

Sound but no picture

there are several things that it could be. if connected to a stereo and tv is turned off, will get audio no video. also check cabling, if have a different set of cabling, try that, make sure all connections are tight, no crack/breaks in cable. if you have a satellite box the signal may need refreshed. you would contact satellite provider to refresh the signal (this may also be done on their website) (it is something that has to be done on their end) or also if you have satellite box, try resetting (some models have door you can open on front panel with red reset inside) others require "hard reset" by unplugging for 15 seconds and plugging back in.

Programming Channels

Your TV is likely set for "AIR" tuning rather than "CABLE" mode. In this case channels above 13 don't tune correctly. The tuning mode is adjusted through the setup menu (it's been too long since I've seen one of these to remember exactly how the menu looks). Once you set the tuning mode for cable, all the available channels should come in properly.

But you've said you have satellite, so you should have a satellite receiver connected to your TV, and you'd be changing channels there rather than on the TV. Your TV would be staying on channel 3 or 4 (if using the satellite antenna output connection), or on the A/V input you have the satellite connected to (if using the direct A/V outputs). Am I missing something about your system?
