SOURCE: Hello, I have a Panasonic TH-50PZ800U

Hi Aaron,
2 blinks error code is definitely a 15VDC SOS detect, but this error code does not means that the fault was came from the D board alone. Remember that this is a supply voltage issue also. In the service manual, stated there that the test point is in the D-board (not specifically replaced the D-board).
Let me know the reading in the connector (P25) pin #1&2 in the D-board to assist you further.
Also just for the confirmation of 5vdc, let me know also the reading in (P25) pin #5&6 in the D-board.
Note : to have an accurate reading, place the test prod of your multimeter on the test point prior from powering on the unit because the supply voltage will cut-off after the self test.

SAMSUNG - UE40F6670 LED TV - I have thin black horizontal lines appearing in upper half of screen. They get lighter as the TV warms up but don't go away.

IMPORTANT: Horizontal lines on the screen are virtually NEVER caused by a bad T-con board. Horizontal lines indicate a defective LCD panel (screen). Check ribbon connectors coming from screen and the T-con board first but likely the Panel.

Why does my sanyo flat screen TV have vertical coloced lines on screen with no picture?

Check the ribbons going in between the boards and "work" them to clean up all connections. And on the main board look for possible bad caps.

Your t con board is responsible for all picture distortions but not the vertical lines you described.

LG LCD TV 42LK450 - Sound but screen is black..

Sorry but you have a bad panel. Repair cost is prohibitive. The T-con was a good choice, but is the last step to the panel.

Check its Chroma section circuit for fault. Most possible cause is damaged chroma IC.

No picture, lines displaying

The only board that conttrols the HDMI function on this TV is the main board. The lines on the screen can be caused by this board as well or a bad t-con board .

Here is a link for both boards : Main- http://www.tvpartsguy.com/servlet/the-2760/LG-42LB4D-MAIN-BOARD/Detail

T-con - http://www.tvpartsguy.com/servlet/the-2761/LG-42LB4D-T-dsh-CON-BOARD/Detail

double check your part numbers.

Samsung LN46B650T1FXZA has vertical lines. What part needs to be replaces? Thanks, Nina

This might be a bad T-Con Board. This is the board that is in the middle top side of your TV. It connects to your main board (with the hdmi inputs) to the LCD Screen. Your TV has a major issue with the T-Con Board going back. The T-Con for that TV is avaialble here 55 46T03 C11 Samsung Con Board for LN46B650T1FXZA

I have a 42JC2D TV. Vertical color bar lines

Hi,
It is hardware issue related to LCD Panel (screen).
Regarding fixing it, it depends if you are handy with electronics stuff repair and can replace circuit boards in tv etc then please check T-Con (lcd controller board) on top center position at rear of lcd panel, this board would be covered with metal shield. Need to take off back cover of tv to get access to T-Con board. If T-Con board does not solve lines problem of screen then LCD Panel is bad and will be replaced.
If you fee uncomfortable doing so then repairman option is better choice.
Hope this info will help you.
Thanks.
