Try to pull out from lint filter door. If not try to access from back vent tube. Remove the house vent line and then look into machine inside vent line. It is a 4" diamter hole.

If no luck then you have to access the blower wheel compartment. It depends on your model how to access the blower wheel compartment

SOURCE: loud noise from dryer

Good Afternoon,
If a toothbrush went into the dryer it would have to remain in the drum. There are no outlets large enough for a toothbrush to fit through. Can you tell where the noise is coming from? Also, check the drum good, the toothbrush could be hiding behind one of the ears in the drum and you probably can't see it. Try running your hand behind the ears inside the drum, it just might be there! I hope this will help you and thank you for using FixYa!

SOURCE: Kenmore 110.66902690 electric dryer does not dry completely

Dear Barry,
Try 2 things.
One, be certain the clothes are very dry coming out of the washing machine.
If the washer leaves the clothes wet ( like the belt might be slipping), it can take the dryer forever to finish drying the clothes.
You can tell by hand-wringing them.
You should not be able to get any water out of them by hand-wringing after they have spun dry in the washer.
Two, try running a load with the vent hose unhooked off the back of the dryer.
If this fixes the problem, you are having a "clogged vent" issue somehow.
Be blessed.

I would do a Puddle test on the Lint Screen. A Puddle Test is pour a handful of water onto the Lint Screen. If it Puddles Wash it out with Dish Soap and rinse with Hot Water, See we use Fabric Softener Sheets the Oils from the Sheets clog the little tiny holes an it's hard for the air to flow thru it, This should be done every 6 Months just maybe it's giving it a False reading, also maybe check the Door Gasket

I have a roper dryer. I took it apart today

Remove all duct work connected to this dryer. Clean thoroughly. You will find amass of lint inside of it causing your problem. If not the moister sensor is not working properly and needs to be replaced.
I do hope you will find a clogged vent tube for it is easier to clean the tube than to replace the sensor. The sensor is a fail safe part. It keeps the dryer from catching on fire when the lint tube is clogged up

Get hold of a flexi brush , you know the kind of thing you use to dust down the back of radiators

Take out the soap drawer and insert the brush down the feed tubes one at a time

The brush should have a clear passage into the drum

If you hit an obstruction which the brush cannot dislodge then the top has to come off the washer and the hoses will need to be removed for cleaning

Black carbon/soot on the door and lint filter of my dryer

Soot would mean lint is circulating around in your machine, and getting to the combustion area. Take the machine all apart and clean it thoroughly, including taking the cover off the fan and cleaning it too. A dirty fan will slow down the whole works. Check with your hardware store for a chimney-sweep's brush. I once bought one that could be tied to ropes and pulled up and down a flue. If they have a brush the right size, you could do that and really clean your dryer vent.

TOO LONG TO DRY

If your dryer is heating up when first started then your problem is a obstructed dryer vent ether between the dryer and wall or where ever the exterior vent is. On the inside make sure the vent have no kinks in it. Go outside and check the flap in the vent make sure it's clear from obstruction you should feel a very good force of air in that vent when the dryer is running. And final check your lint screen and make sure it has no lint impact on it and run it under water it should not pool up if it does use a tooth brush to clean it. Hope this helps you
