Question about Craftsman 3/4 HP Chain Drive Garage Door Opener with Keyless Entry
Our light tabs are broken in each light socket of the two lights on our garage door opener. I can wiggle the lights and they work temporarily. The clicking still occurs when they are supposed to come on. Is there any solution to this problem besides buying a new opener? Other options appreciated.

Testimonial: "They sure were replaceable! Only cost $6.44 for the both of them at Sears through Amazon.com!! Our kind of fix:)Using better appliance bulbs this time. I think this will help."

the small metal tab at the base of the socket. Clean away any
corrosion you may find on the tab as much as possible. With a small
instrument, generally pry up on the metal tab to ensure that it will
make solid contact with the light bulb.
