The main oven ignition keeps clicking away after the oven has been on a few minutes. It will click away for ages before gradually slowing down and stopping.

Hi Nicholas - you've provided the manufacturer's name - but not the model number. Have a look here for spare parts offered by model number (there are quite a few).

Your stove has a faulty sensor that is used to detect the flame of either the pilot that gets lit by the ignition or the burner itself. Without knowing the brand and model of the oven, it will be impossible to know which parts are affected.

check the operators manual or with a servicing agent
being gas it may require the clicking to reignite the gas when the temp starts to cycle or there may be a problem in the control system for the gas operation

I have a 36'' Wolf LP oven with 4 burners and a charbroiler in the center, When lighting the charbroiler, the electronic igniter continues clicking up to 5 minutes after the charbroiler lights

Hi.

The igniters are all controlled by a main hub switch located under the cooktop panel.

Replace the sparking igniters module to fix the sticky igniters problem.

Regards.

Ginko.

Gas mark nob not having any effect on gas levels in the oven seems like it is on its highest setting all the time? Also the ignition keeps clicking away all the time could this be a s/c on the wire from...

Time to change the thermostat. the cap tube sounds like it has been broken. If it has a temp control board, change the temp probe. The clicking sound, if unit is equiped with an ignition control modual, is bad, (not shutting off after sensing pilot) or sensor rod is dirty.

Oven takes 5 minutes to come on (ignite).

Replaced the igniter. The parts guy told me that the amperage changes with age and use; thus the igniter still glows, but it takes much longer to operate the gas valve with the reduced amperage. Cost - $70.14

Help our frigidare double oven is locked and we cannot get the chicken out....it keeps beeping and showing an f1 symbol

Press Clear/Off to stop the beeping... then press clear/off again. If it doesn't unlock - wait about 15 minutes for it to cool down.

The F1 error means the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) board has a failure - and thought there was a run-away temperature condition.

It should allow itself to unlock after a few minutes of cool-down.

For additional help in finding a replacement part - a Model # will be required.

Thanks for using FixYa!!

Ignitor problem with gas oven

The spark ignition coil is failing. As this is an oven, it can be dangerous not to have a strong ignition spark. A gas buildup in the oven could cause an explosion.
You should replace the spark generator coil which is located at the back of the oven and is usually orange/black or blue in color. Ariston usually use ITW Ispracontrols ignition coils.
