Question about Diesel DZ7257 Watch

My watch glass fogs when I wear it on cold days

I wore it in the rain one day, but the watch says its waterproof. Could there be a seal problem? I lost my receipt of purchase and I bought it when I was in States, I live in Canada and not sure what to do. Has not even been six months yet.

Yeah, it does not say it is waterproof, I have one they are "Water Resistant" to like 165' or some such nonsense. Anyway, if you paid for a warranty you can have it repaired by Diesel, this is the 1st watch I have ever purchased where they ask at the counter if you wish to purchase the manufacturers warranty. Mine was an extra $35 for the warranty. Yours may have been included in the price? If not your choice is deal with the fogging, repair it yourself, or pay a jeweler to repair it properly. You don't necessarily need jeweler's tools to repair it, but it is very easy to gouge the watch without them. New seals are available online. Personally I would take it to a jewelry store that offers watch repair. Your other option is to send it to Diesel, but you'll be paying for shipping/handling plus repair costs without warranty.

Hi. There is water under the crystal on my Sharp watch but, it says on the back that it is waterproof to 100 ft. This watch has been very accurate and, is still, since it was purchased 8 years ago and I...

There may have been some moisture inside the watch when igt was made or as the watch is fairly "old", the seal may have deteriorated.

Many makers recommend servicing (which includes fitting nw seals) ever 3-4 years.

You could try putting it in a warm palce foe a day or so to see if the problem disappears but if it persists, get in touch with the maker with a view to servicing it.

I havent used my watch for about 3 months and now i cant get the stp watch to work on it? it has been srored in a drawer and is in new condition?

if the watch is still keeping time but the stopwatch wont work then its probable that the watch has two modules inside, one for the normal hour and min hand and a module to run the stop watch. The cell on the stopwatch module will be flat and needs to be changed.Your watch is waterproof so take care who opens it and ask for it tom be re sealed or it wont be waterproof.
If you cant find a local watchmaker see where there is a postal repair service within a day or so.

My tag heure chrono's minute and second hands turned black and moisture got in ?

mcdevito75 here, I hope you have a warrantee on your Tag Heur watch, if so, contact Tag Heur, if not, your on your own, (Sorry) sounds as though it"s lost some of it"s waterproofing ability or the seal around the crystal, usually a crystal sealer. Best Bet look for a small watch repair shop in your area, have them take a look at your watch. The Fog on the crystal is the tempersture change of the air in your watch, no watch is air proof, re-sealing the crystal should help, also, replaceing the rubber seal on the back of the watch.

mcdevito75 here, I think you mean handleing, or takeing care of your Casio watch. First look on the back cover to see if it says shock proof or water proof, if it does you have a liitle lee way in handleing your watch, what I men is, you can wear your Casio even if you do heavy work and even in a moderate rain. However most Casio watches should not be worn if your out in a driveing rain or if you do extra heavy work, such as use a sledge hammer, or heavy tools, keep your casio dry, and once every other daye wipe it clean with a soft dry cloth, also do not rest your Casio on it"s crystal (Glass) when you take it off.

My Timex automatic gains a bit each day. Can I adjust it?

Most watches have some sort of adjustment but I would advise you to take it to a Timex dealer as removing the back can cause problems (particularly with the waterproofing seal).

Also, I could not see the back of the watch in the catalogue but many watches need special tools to remove the back.

Moisture under lense

Moisture can sometimes be removed by putting your watch in a warm place and leaving there for a day or so.

If it persists, then it may be necessary to remove the back of the watch. This is usually best left to a jeweler, especially if it is a waterproof type, as the seals can be difficult to re-fit. If your watch is still under warranty, then you may invalidate the warranty if you try any self repairs.

It's too expensive to change it on proper service or mall... you can purchase battery for amazon and change it at home, take a look here: Rayovac Batteries Lasts as Long Costs Less. I hope this helped. Cheers
