Sounds like there is a secondary fuse protection, or some wire came off. Did you check for ground?

Code lights won't light on rheem ruud 1028-928

That board runs on 24v power. I would check to see that you have 24v from C to R at the t'stat wire terminals. Also make sure that the fuse is in place and that it is good.

Ruud Silhouette II Gas Furnace, purges, lights burners and burns until the blower starts and then burner stops and does not really blow very warm air. Once blower shuts off, it starts the process all over...

Flame sensor needs to be cleaned. turn off the furnace power switch or breaker. pull the flame sensor located in the burner runner section of the furnace. It will be easy to locate because it has 1 wire running to it. pull the screw being very careful not to harm anything else. get the sensor out. inspect it for cleanliness. clean the sensor with light grade sand paper gently. re-install the sensor plug the wire back on. restart your furnace and this should fix the problem.

I have a RUUD Silhouette II and while it was running the thermosat wires hit the top of the unit, there was a spark and it died. I checked all the breakers, but still nothing. When I turn the unit power...

Hello CHARLIE Yes that was a 24 volt wire that got shorted 1:The wire must be repaired/replaced.2:The fuse is in the blower/airhandler unit it should be a 3 or 5 amp blade fuse (the one that is in a car) on the curcit board, or a button that poppes up on transformer in the blower unit just push that in to restore low voltage power.

No Power to Circuit Board

No control voltage 24 volts. The fan board if it has one. sometimes has a five amp auto fuse on it. If not sounds like the transformer. Not hard to replace.

Ruud Silhouette II Fails to Ignite

sounds like you have bad flame sensor or the sensor is in a bad postition. To get eliminate the lockout turn the power off to the unit and back on again. Look at the circuit board light and see what the troubleshooting code is.

Flashing amber lights

it means that the flame sensor is not sensing a flame. If the flame is present and nice and blue the flame sensor is probaly dirty. Remove the flame sensor and lighty sand it with sandpaper.
