That depends upon the charges of a particular repair business. If they had to send for a part, they will buy the part, charge you enough that you pay for the part and whatever it cost them to have it shipped to them, and then the labour. The replacement screen is sold at Amazon for about $33 and that does not include shipping. It is there as LCD Display Screen Replacement Parts for Maylong M27 7" Tablet PC. I suspect you would find the labor fairly costly, certainly more than the cost of the part. And you would be out postage for shipping the unit to and fro. If the device cost you $200 and the total repair cost including shipping was half of that, would you have it repaired? You can google "who repairs M270 tablet PCs in the USA" or where ever your location is or check the warranty contact information (though it won't be covered) and see what they say.

Check If Battery Will Charge

First, connect your tablet to the power adapter. Hopefully the tablet will recognize the charger and begin to recharge the battery. If it does not, the battery may be defective and need to be replaced.

If you determined that the battery was working, it is possible that the display is broken. If no light or images are visible, but the tablet has power, then the display may need to be replaced.
Bad Logic Board

If none of the previous solutions solved your problem, check all of the connections from the display to the logic board. If the device still does not turn on, the logic board in your device most likely needs to be replaced.

NOTHING BUT A BATTERY AND RCA TABLET COMES ON WITH CHARGER BUT SHOWS NOTHING BUT A BATTERY ON SCREEN RCA 7 INCH TABLET

With the charger hooked up and plugged in the tablet will only show the battery on the screen briefly to let you know it's charging. It won't actually boot up until it has a sufficient charge. Just let it set that way for a couple of hours then try to power up.

Digiland tablet won't charge. Is there a way to

Depends upon exactly what's happening.

  • When you plug in your charger, does it try to charge the Tablet? ie Does the Charging icon come on the screen briefly when the charger is plugged in with the Tablet turned off, or does the little charging 'lightning' symbol come onto the battery icon on the home screen when the Tablet is running?
  • I assume the battery has gone flat, but will the Tablet turn on when the charger is connected?
If the charging icon comes on, and/or the tablet will run on the charger, then both the charger and the charge port connection on the Tablet are OK, and the most probable cause of failure is the internal battery which will need to be replaced.

However, If neither the icon comes on nor the Tablet runs on the charger, then either the charger has died, or the plug/socket on the Tablet where it connects is faulty. The most likely cause is that the charger has died and will neeed to be replaced

There is a slight chance that the internal charging circuits in the Tablet may have developed a fault, but that is highly unlikely {:o)

A totally dead battery can prevent the tablet from booting. A technician is the only one that can replace batteries in tablets. Contact the manufacturer for an RMA and repair.

Black Screen no battery picture

If you are having this problem with the tablet, but the charger works fine with the cellphone, then mKe sure that you are using the right charger for the tablet, or it could be that the charging port in the tablet is damage, or the battery needs to be replace.

Remove the battery cover and remove battery for about 30 seconds. Then replace battery and power up your tablet and see if that does not reset it.

I replaced the screen on the Asus tf300 tablet. After reassembly it wouldn't charge. I replaced the internal charger cable because it had bad pins. Plugged in the charger and got two flashing orange...

Hi, it seems that battery is totally discharged, that could be the reason of dead table. It should be good if you could check the connectors where the internal charger cable is connected, maybe one or both are damaged too.
