The sensor will be located located where the engine attaches to the transmission. Have a look around where the engine attaches to the transmission .. top, sides and underneath. The crankshaft sensor will have a minimum of 1 wire attached.
Remove the glove-box door. Behind that is the heater core cover on the
interior, passenger side of the firewall. Remove that cover and there is
the heater core. Open the hood and look where the heater hoses enter
the front right passenger area of the exterior side of the firewall.
Disconnect the two heater hose clamps and you can then remove the heater
core.
You have to remove the instrument panel, discharge the a/c and then remove the heater/ A/C plenum from the firewall to access the heater core. BIG JOB for a do-it-yourselfer.
Your heater core is located behind the dash. You need to remove the dashboard and your heater core will be located on the passenger side along the firewall. It will look like a small radiator. Get yourself a haynes manual for good step by step instructions and pictures to remove your dash.
it is behind the glove box and very easy to replace, just disconnect the heater core hoses on the fire wall, remove the plastic cover over the core and out it comes, I have replaced them in 30 minutes at the Ford dealer i work at.
On all models except the Millenia, the fuel filter is attached to a bracket located in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir.
there is a fuse and a relay that need to be checked they are located in the fuse box under the hood. if there is a cut off it will be located in the trunk behind the fabric.
