Question about Tally Office Equipment & Supplies
After replacing platen sensor to correct, I run the print gap detection, it flashes "Correction", and the last # it displays, is between 191 and 214, book says its supposed to be around 50
Just clear nvram first. then in operator menu go to print gap then mode select manual then enter.
now press clear key adjust print gap by pressing + & - key together when it show 190 then decrease it to 50 and save value.

SOURCE: blk 0 chksum error
fault "blk 0 chksum error" is attributable to a corrupt firmware. Fortunately the firmware can be reloaded and restore the printer in operating condition. You can download a firmware from the tallygenicom.com site under support and drivers then download it in your PC. Normally you need to put the printer is flash download mode also instruction can be seen from the site. If you cannot do this I can assist you with this.

Turning off ECM / lowering baud rate, neither will matter. Fax machines are ANALOG devices. MagicJack, Vonage, DSL are DIGITAL phone lines.
Your fax machine will not wot work reliably.
