How To Resolve The Canon Printer E07 Error Message?

The Canon printer E07 error message appears at the time when the Canon Pixma printer detects the "FINE Cartridge which is not installed accurately. Well, a 'FINE' cartridge usually refers to a standalone black or tri-colour cartridge which is visible with the printhead attached to it usually functions exclusively in two cartridge printers. Whilst, according to http://www.canonprintersupportnumbers.com/ professionals, only Canon original cartridges can easily carry the 'FINE' branding. The Canon printer error message appears because the printer has recognized the cartridge on some level and does not even indicate a problem with the cartridge itself. Instead the printer is indicating that a compatible ink cartridge has been installed in an incorrect position within the inkjet printer. The error happens when users open the lid of the printer, at that time the cradle will swiftly move into the ink cartridge replacement position from where users will find atleast identical looking cartridges slots can be installed.

Seth, I cut n' pasted the following information from Google:

The E07 (not E007) error message appears when your Canon Pixma printer detects that the "FINE Cartridge is not installed in the correct position". A 'FINE' cartridge refers to a stand alone black or tri-color cartridge (with a print head attached) that is used exclusively in two cartridge printers. While only Canon original cartridges carry the 'FINE' branding this message does not mean your printer will only accept brand new cartridges and refilled/re-manufactured or compatible cartridges can also be used to resolve this message.

The E07 message will commonly appear after changing an ink cartridge. To clear it we simply need to ensure that one each of the black and color cartridges are installed and that they are installed in the correct place. Please take the following steps:

  1. Open the lid of the printer and wait for the cradle to move to the cartridge replacement position.
  2. Remove both cartridges from the printer.
  3. Examine the labels to ensure one is a black (PG-37/PG-40/PG-50/PG-510/PG-512/PG-540/PG-540XL) and one is color (CL-38/CL-41/CL-51/CL-511/CL-513/CL-541/CL-541XL).
  4. Locate the correct slot for the color and the black cartridge using indications on the printer or cartridge cradle.
  5. Re-install both cartridges into the correct slot.
The message will now disappear leaving you to continue printing. If however the message remains it may be that one or more of the cartridges has been miss-labelled by the manufacturer. To confirm if the cartridge is color or black simply flip it over and look for a small metallic plate located on the underside. A color cartridge will have a square plate with three slits in it and a black will have a single elongated slot.

I hope this remedies your problem...................................Gary

I assume you have a Canon copier based on the E007 error code. The Fuser fixing film is torn and the Fixing film assembly or the entire fuser should be replaced. Very common issue.......You cannot reset that code without first replacing the part causing the code.

Electrolux Cooktop Hybrid error E07- sometimes, cooking gets interrupted with E07 code and shuts off the panel. On next turn on, usually works okay. Could you describe me the error code? Thanks!

I appreciate your post, friend!

I see that you are having an issue with your Electrolux cooktop displaying a "E07" and shutting off. An "E07" code stands for an issue with your key sensor timer and this could be a potential problem with your right, left, or center board. This may not be a simple DIY job and I would highly recommend having a professional technician come out to diagnosis your cooktop. The technician will have the appropriate tools needed for properly diagnosing your cooktop. This step will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Error Code E07-27 How can I fix it myself ???

That error is a finisher tray lift error. If you do not see anything binding the trays, service will have to be called or finisher disconnected. Pay attention to the screws, they can loosen causing the trays to bind.

    Keep getting error code E07-27

E07-27 is a problem with the finisher tray lift motor. Make sure that a trash can is not under the tray. Have also seen screws work there way loose causing the tray to bind. If neither is your problem, you will have to call a service provider. Temporarily you can turn the power off, separate the finisher from the machine, unplug the connector, and turn power back on. You will not have a finisher but you can make copies until it is serviced.
