Question about Panasonic Televison & Video

I have a Panasonic HDTV Plasma Model TC60PS34 that will not turn on the red light blinks in series of 7 blinkswhat is the typical issue with this, the set was made in June of 2011, is it normal for a set of this type to last only three years?

It sounds like the t.v. lost a power relay which switches on the power to the television when you press the button. You may need to contact Panasonic by email to see if they will be helpful in troubleshooting this for you and may sell you the part or ask you send it in to them for repair. It might be covered under a manufacturer warranty.

What does 7 red blinks mean?

7 blinks of standby light to Panasonic brand Plasma TVs means; Driver SOS 2 SU / SD / SS Boards (SC floating voltage area). If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes and faults to Panasonic Plasma TVs, check this site. I have a Panasonic Viera TC-P50x1 HDTV. When I turn the power on the red light blinks 10 times. What is my problem?

Unfortunately the set will need serviced. I would contact Panasonic or whoever you purchased it from for warranty information.

Ask Panasonic (lt's posted here as one) or GOOGLE THE MODEL NUMBER WITH "BLINK CODES" OR ERROR CODES.

My panasonic hdtv th-42pz80u has a red power light that blinks on and off and the tv will not turn on. how do i fix this?

How many times is that light blinking? For example a 7 blink error code would blink 7 times pause 7 times etc. What is your's blinking?
