I just wanted to let you know Sharon, the 14 day free trail off , the company says you can cancel anytime within the 14 days and you won't be charged. If you still can't cancel it contact the provider for more further details on how to solve it :D

My 2008 Maytag double oven the lower door is locked, no messages on display and the manual says to push 'CANCEL abd Cook & Hold' button but does not unlock the door

f your 2008 Maytag double oven's lower door is locked, here are some steps you can try to unlock it:

Press Cancel/Off Key: Start by pressing the Cancel/Off key. Wait for 20-30 seconds, then try to open the door. Sometimes this simple latch reset can do the trick.

Power Cycle: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box for one minute. After that, turn the power back on. Allow the oven to cool for approximately 30-90 minutes, and then move the latch arm to the left to unlock the door.

Self-Clean Cycle Interruption: If the door locked during a self-clean cycle, select the "Self Clean" option, and then choose "Cancel". Wait a couple of minutes, and then try to start the cycle again. If the self-clean cycle was started by mistake, press the Cancel/Off key. The oven will need to cool to around 200°F (95°C) before the door can open.

Remember to ensure that the oven is cool and the power is turned off before attempting any of these steps. Hopefully, one of these methods will help you unlock the oven door! Your manual might prove helpful. Oven is Locked - What to Do - Product Help ' Maytag

GE Dualfuel slide in Serial #C2S995SEL2SS

This means that the Sabbath mode has been enabled. To disable the program, first press and release the Cancel/Off to stop the current programmed bake settings. Then press and hold Settings until Sabbath Mode Off is displayed. See page 14 of the manual for setting the Sabbath mode. The manual is available on the product page: https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/assembly/C2S995SEL1SS . The current link to the manual is https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-85241.pdf . Most GE oven codes are listed here: https://www.geappliances.ca/en/support/knowledgebase/range-oven-function-error-or-fault-codes . The Sabbath Mode symbol is shown at the bottom of the table.

This mode can be used to set the oven temperature for an extended bake (usually for a low temperature) or a programmed bake. It's used by those who strictly keep the Sabbath but want a hot meal ready when the Sabbath ends.

I hope this helps.

My plef398dch is in a range lock out mode that I cannot fix. I have searched the web and manuals to fix but nothing works

Good Morning friend, thank you for your post!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire oven, PLEF398DCH, has locked you out and you are unable to fix it. Sometimes a reset can fix this problem. In order to reset your oven you would need to flip the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes.

If this does not help correct the issue you can perform a self-clean and right before the clean starts press the cancel or clear button. This should trick the oven into disengaging your door lock. Lastly, hold down the clear or cancel button for 10 to 15 seconds and that should release the lock. If you perform all this troubleshooting and the door is still locked it could be a bad latch and that may need to be replaced. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

My GE wall oven is stuck on lock mode. I cancelled a self clean (I know, big mistake) and after cooling down it still won't unlock. I've cut the power and still nothing. It's been 3 days! Trying to avoid...

Try putting it back in self clean. Listen to see if it locks. then cancel the self clean. It could be the self clean lock motor has gone bad. The lock hook can be moved to unlock the door by inserting a stiff wire like a coat hanger between the door and the oven and moving the latch over to unlock the door.

For the 720ef , this is what you need to do. Hopefully this will translate to your 900.
There are five buttons on the clock panel and from left to right they are:- Minute Minder, Cook time, Ready Time, Plus and Minus.
TO SET THE TIME OF DAY
Press the Cook Time button and the Ready Time button simultaneously. Use the Plus and Minus buttons to set the time.(24hr clock).
TO SELECT AN ALARM TONE.
Press the Minus button to listen to the first tone. Release it and press it again to listen to the second tone etc (3 tones)
Releasing the button after the tone has sounded will automatically set that tone.
SETTING THE MINUTE MINDER.
Press the Minuter Minder button and either the Plus or Minus buttons simultaneously to set the time.
You can cancel the timer at any time by setting it back to 00.00 by using the Minus button.
After setting, the display will revert to the time of day, but by pressing the Minute Minder button again, the display will show the remaining time.

To reset the cook time, use the plus and minus buttons to set it to zero.
To cancel the automatic setting and return the oven to manual operation, press the COOK TIME and READY TIME buttons simultaneously.
I hope this helps.

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

The top and fan oven keep going off because of the timer. I dont know how to get rid of the timer a I never use it. But I donbt want it to cut out th overn which it is doing. Hel,p and info please

There are 5 buttons next to the clock. From left to right they are:-
Minute Minder, Cook Time, Ready Time, Plus and Minus.
It sounds like the timer needs setting back to manual, so to cancel the automatic setting and return to manual operation, press the Cook Time and Ready Time buttons simultaneously.

To cancel any remaining cooking time left on the clock before the alarm sounds, press the Cook Time and Ready Time buttons simultaneously.

If you are interested, to set the time of day, press the Cook Time button and the Ready Time button simultaneously. Then use the Plus and Minus buttons to set the required time.

To set the Minute Minder, press the Minute Minder button, then use the Plus button to set the required time. You can cancel the minute minder at any time by pressing the Minute Minder button and the Minus button until the display returns to 0.00.

To select an alarm tone, press the Minus button to listen to the first tone. Release the Minus button and press it again to listen to the second tone etc. Releasing the Minus button after the tone has sounded will automatically select that tone.

Hope this helps.
