Battery port

Depending on how hot you may be right. It is normal for the battery to heat up when you charge it. I have an RCA tablet that while the charge port (which doubles as the micro USB) fits tight and the battery still heats up to the point where it is hot to the touch but not to hot to hold. If your charging port is broken then the tablet will nont charge at all. If it is loose and not getting good connection then the battery will charge intermittently. Again either of these issues will not cause the battery to get abnormally hot. However, if there is an issue with the battery itself then it may get too hot. If so the charging circuit thermistor should cause the battery to stop charging.

My Skytex tablet (version sp717) won't turn on. I've tried letting it charge and it will only give me a screen that says "SKYPAD" when it's plugged it. The second I unplug it, everything goes away.

Ematic egp008 tablet. Can I charge it through the USB port?

Everything I was able to find says "Will not charge through USB". Also saw a lot of complaints about how short the battery life is. About 6 hours. Turn off WiFi if you are not using it. Will make battery last longer.

My Azpen A727 is frozen and says rstech_teni has stopped. I can't do anything. Is there any way I can get into settings.

rstech_teni is in your tablet as a core system app even though it may be no such thing. I believe it was put there by the A727 manufacturer in some contractual agreement with some advertising entity. The Lookout malware scanner may sometimes detect it as malware you should just ignore it and not try to delete it, as it will result in your problem again.
You will not be able restore the tablet from the hardware restore menu (hold power & up vol) because it will not allow you to answer "yes" to the prompt to proceed.

Two ways to fix, (Later, on how to actually select something)
1. (preferred)
Go to >Settings >Apps >All
scroll down to rstech_teni, select it, and then select "Clear data"
If you don't see retech_teni you may find "rs_9104_v30". This may be a clone of rstech_teni, do the same to it.
Your done.

2. (last resort, you will lose installed apps and data)
Go to >Settings >Backup & reset >Factory data reset,
Follow instructions, and your done.

And now the hard part, to deal with the message that will not let you navigate.
The easy way to get to "Settings" is to short tap power button to put tablet to display off/locked.
Then again short tap to turn on screen. You will see the rstecc_teni MSG hit OK in MSG. The MSG should be gone and not come back, do nothing else other than pull down the right upper drop down menu where the settings button is then select settings. At this point the evil MSG will come back.
From here on the frustration will start.
You will need to use two hands. Tap the rstech_teni OK with one finger on one hand and then quickly tap the Apps option with a finger on your other hand. This is kind of time consuming but it works after multiple attempts.
If you have a stylus pen, use it for the second tap to the option you want. It will seriously reduce the time it takes by making the second tap very accurate.
Within a half hour you should be able to get through this.
I know because I had an A727 with the same problem.

Why will my samsung Ipad will not charge?

Buy a new charge cable. You can generally find one for around $15. It's well worth it to save the headaches of trying everything else first. If you have a habit of charging while using the tablet, this is a good place to start as the cable can become frayed or shorted inside at the port connector.

Sanei tablet not switching on

It's normal for a device to heat up during use and charging. As long as it's not too hot to hold, there isn't a problem. If it is hot enough to burn you I'd replace the battery

How do i fix my tablet?

First off I was ask do you know if the charger is good? If it uses a USB connector to charge and you have another device with a charger, try swapping it out. Look on the tablet charger for the Volts (V) and the Amps (A) it will probably be 5V and 1-2A if you have a charger with a fairly close rating it should charge the tablet. You may also need to hold the reset button down for up to 20 seconds.
