Speedqueen heavy duty extra large capacity trips power

Does this happen simply plugging it in? Or is it when you try to operate it? If it occurs as soon as plugged in, you may have grounded something inside the unit during transport that is causing the power to trip. Or you could have a faulty breaker. If it is when trying to use it, determine if the circuit load is adequate for the unit. There may be other items on the circuit causing it to overload when operated.

Machine keeps tripping out when starting wash cycle - electrics have been checked by electrician - no problems- have managed to get it to spin but not to wash

The washing machine is obviously drawing too much current for the breaker to handle. This could be due to the washing machine drawing more that it should or because the breaker cannot handle the current the machine needs, coupled with the other machines on the ring main. If the fuse on the plug of the washing machine does not blow, then it could be that there are too many appliances on the ring main. The fuse on the machine may not blow however, if the breaker has a faster blow time than the fuse in the plug. Try plugging the washing machine into another ring main. Or try plugging out all the other appliances on the same ring main and test it out.

If the ELCB (Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker) is tripping only when the washing machine is running then something in the machine is faulty.

One common problem is the heating element. Over time they tend to crack and when the water gets in, the ELCB will trip out. This can be problematic to diagnose as offten the element will only trip after a period of heating. Bottom line, if it is tripping the ELCB then it is dangerous and should be fixed before any further use.

Breaker to Master Bedroom is tripped, will not allow to turn from "off" to "on" all the way. rest of power in home is working fine.

I will assume you have tried to first turn the breaker further to the "off" position before trying to turn it on.
If you have, then confirm that is is not immediately tripping, which it can do if there is still a short in something plugged in. Check the items plugged in, something mad it trip the first time.
It is not uncommon for the breaker to fail if its old or a cheap one (home depot) that has tripped several times. They are pretty easy to swap... as long as you have some skill, let me know if you have fully reset it or if you think it has failed.

I'm trying to connect a GSW-SK door switch to an led rope light. The circuit breaker trips every time I plug the power cord into the outlet. Any ideas?

The circuit breaker trips because you have some sort of short circuit. Use a Meter set to OHMS, and try to find the "Short". Check the wiring in the Plug also.

Washer fills but trips breaker when trying to start wash cycle. Does the same with rinse and spin cycles and when plugged into another circuit

Hi there
OK thank for writing to fix ya. Sounds like your breaker can't support your washer so you need to replace you breaker where it can handle you washer. just go up another 30amps on your breaker and try that. let me know how that goes.
Best regards Richard

It doesn't have a drain plug. Yes the square plug is the fill plug. You have to remove the cover to drain it. To remove the fill plug try an open end wrench with a pipe over the end of it.
