Question about Epson Office Equipment & Supplies
Have done the cleaning and maintenance that the machine does.
I know this isn't going to be the answer you want to hear, and it's certainly not what I want to tell you. However, I wish to be completely honest with you, so I feel obligated to not give you false hope.
In almost every case like this, the problem is with the sensor of the printer, because stripes indicates mechanical problem with the printer and as you do not find anything inside the printer and the cartridges can move freely, that means the printer is getting wrong signal from the sensors and this is only possible, if the sensors are defective and not working properly.
There are two options to solve the problem, one you can get it repair from the repair shop and two, you can repair it yourself, if you have any previous experience, as this is a online site
You must take into consideration that the lifetime of a printer will vary upon how much it's used. Average is 4 to 5 years.. maybe more. I have seen printers in Walmart for $49.99.
