Question about Samsung PN51D450A2D Plasma TV
I tried un-plunging it and plugging it in, hitting buttons .. was told it might be main board the BN96 but i dont no what i should be looking to replace
Plug in the TV and check the screen for a back light glow and use a flash light to shine against the screen to see for images. If there is no image and no back light then the power board could be defective. If there is a back light but no image then your T-con board is defective. But if there is no back light, no image and no sound then your main board and power board could be defective. Have a certified tech come see it.

Some Samsung tv's have a common fault of capacitors breaking down.
Especially the 32" flat screen model.
If you are not happy changing components your self send for an expert.
However, you may look up Samsung TV repairs on Youtube, there are several step by step tutorials there.
