Motorola H730 will not turn on even though it is fully charged

After i fully charged it, I could not get it to turn on except twice. No blue light or any other indication. I left it unplugged for a month and when i plugged it in today i did get a blue light - then nothing. Its only turned on twice since I fully charged it but c I had to keep opening and closing the mouthpiece and then it finally worked.

Sometimes they just die. Many electronic items, that have rechargeable batteries, need to be charged on a periodic basis in order to maintain the battery's functionality. If it's under warranty, Motorola is very good about replacing it. Otherwise, assume you'll need a new one. Good luck.

Does the light turn on while plugged in with boom closed? If it does allow it to charge for a couple hours. Then remove from charger and open boom and watch if light comes on. If it does then it is holding a charge. If the light doesn't come on after opening the boom then the battery is probably expended and you'll need to get a new headset as the batteries are not replaceable. -Motorola Support

How do I sync my phone with the H730?

Turn off H730,
1) have you ever paired the H730 to any other devices? if so make sure those devices are turned off.
2) Next make sure that your phone has bluetooth featured turned on.
3) Turn on the H730, if there is no devices that the H730 headset can pair to, it should go into descovery mode, the headset light should turn a steady blue, and you should hear "ready to pair"
4) At this point go to your phones bluetooth options and search for bluetooth devices. The H730 should show up
5) It then should ask for a password, 0000
6) after entering the passcode the H730 should say pairing complete

Make sure that it is fully charged, usually takes about an hour to charge completely.

Motorola h730 after factory reset will not stay paired after closing and opening again

Delete the pairing on the phone and then re-pair. Also ensure your headset is fully charged. It should autopair with your phone after a reset when you open boom if phone has bluetooth turned on and is in range.
