Question about Tablets & eReaders
Same problem called them and they said its a known issue and there is no fix as of yet. They said hopefully they will have software to fix it within two weeks. I already returned device twice they said it was with all p10's. U would think they would shut it down and reboot it at least before putting it on the shelf's. Smh

Im looking all over for a replacement screen for my polaroid p10 internet tablet 10.1" and i cant find a replacement screen anywhere.... any help or ideas?

Same issue here guy, were all in the same predicament. Polaroid sent them out to Big Lots for +\-$80.00 right before black friday to be sold over the holiday season knowing they were defective, otherwise they would miss out on the biggest buyer/sales season of the year. And they were ready to release the Q10 (identical to P10,except+ 1gb ram& duel facing cameras.) which would severely cut into sale of the P10 diminishing the value/price/and profitability of the P10. Production cost+ all the additional technical research into this issue resolution is bound to exceed the overall profitability of the P10 given time. Polaroid needed to sell defective anyway to fund the further research&resolution of the bugs/issues with the P10 tablet line. The Q10 is essentially the non-defective alternative to the failed production of the P10. They upgraded the memory 512mb to 1gb. & an extra camera to keep up w/trends. If Polaroid doesn't release this update capable of fixing all of the P10 bugs this week as promised, then its safe to assume they can't/wont. And at that time all P10 should returned to polaroid& upgraded to another model comparable at least.

I talked to support because of mine resetting and was as told there should be a firmware update coming out after today Friday 1/9/15 that will fix this problem . so if he is right it will be on southern telecoms support site tomorrow unless they wait till monday.

Same thing is happening with h my tablet I received for Christmas. Torn between taking it back or waiting for this promised patch to download?

I'm so happy I'm not the only one but sorry for all of us. I was beginning to think it was just my luck. That's crazy that they didn't test their product before shipping it out. I absolutely love the tablet though.
