Oh man! It depends on the type of dryer. You will need to order the correct brushes and you will have to take the dryer apart. It's very messy. Youtube usually has videos for many of the dryers that can help.

Water calculator

Keep your dog clean, make sure you have it shampooed and you should brush your dog daily. You don't need extra water, just use Swiffer, both wet and dry, and your floors should be clean.

How often should I brush my dog?

I brush my own dog once a week and I got a short hair breed (American foxhound). Brushing loosens dirt and helps to keep the coat shiny and tangle-free. The brushing process also allows you to bond with your dog better.

What is a slicker brush and how do I properly use it when grooming my dog?

A slicker brush is a tool designed to help remove matts in your dogs hair, while at the same time pulling out dead hair, removing layers of dead skin cells and promoting healthy circulation. To use a slicker brush, run the brush over the coat of your dogs hair in the same direction as the grain of the hair. Avoid using the slicker brush around your dogs face and ears.

The easiest way to tell is to check the hairs and skin of your pet. Brush your dogs hair over a white sheet and look for small dark specs.

When vacuuming hardwood floor, hair gathers on brush and never sucks into vacuum. I spend most of my time cleaning off brushes. How do I clean hardwood floor with dog hairs.

1. Broom and dust pan, then mop
2. Wet dry vac with wide non-brush attachment
3. Here's a link to a vacuum professing to clean pet hairs well

http://www.evvive.com/shop-by-brand/miele-open-box-canister-vacuums/miele-s516-cat-dog-vacuum_2

4. Try to find a wide attachment for the hose that has no brush, maybe something from a wet dry vac.

5. Take your dog outside and brush every day. It helps, but no matter what you do, you will have pet hair if you have an indoor pet.

6. Go to the source. See if your dog will be vacuumed. Half serious on this one.

Good luck!
