Does not sense weight of clothes and does not stop taking in water.

Could be water inlet valve faulty, is there any water dripping when machine not in use ? Else could be water level sensor faulty or just a loose wire .

When there is a large load of clothes in the washer my washer does not spin fast enough to get the water out of my clothes, what is wrong with my washer?

You don't have to fill too much the washer, leave 1/4 of the cylinder free (if it's a front load washer) or check the maximum level for the top-load washer.
Be careful not to compress the clothes.
The weight that the washer can manage is the weight of the WET clothes.

More technically: the washer need to balance the drum before to spin-dry and for this it needs some free room in the drum. There is a sensor that check that there isn't too much vibrations during the spin-dry, otherwise it stops!

Hi - My Whirlpool washer appears to not use enough water. Don't get me wrong, I want the machine to use low water (that's why I bought a front loader, model: WFW97HEX). However, when I stop the...

Don't pause the cycle mid cycle. The machine uses the amount of water it needs to clean the amount of clothes that are in the tub. If you pause it after the first 7 or 8 minutes, you're already past the sensing part of the cycle and likely you won't get more water for the additional clothes.

Also, the clothes don't need to be soaking wet or wet enough to wring out. These new HE machines mix the detergent with water and then spray that detergent solution onto your clothes. Then the clothes against clothes rubbing with that solution already coating the clothes is how the machines clean better! It is a very similar process to when you pretreat your clothes with Shout of Spray and Wash. You spray the clothes and then rub the short against itself. Now the Whirlpool machines are doing this for you!

does it drain water, seems like it's gonna spin then starts filling up again? if this is what's happening it mean the washer is sensing that the load isn't balanced and it fill back up to move the clothes around and tries again, it will keep doing this untill it senses a balance of weight in the drum. if she tries moving the clothes around herself before it done draining she maybe able to keep it from doing this

sounds like washer is load sensing either overloaded or unbalanced when it decides to low spin insteasd of high spin dose it stop for second rotate 3 times and change direction 3 times the just spin slow.... if so either u have misloaded the machine by overloading orthe clothes are unbalanced in load may need add a towel or something to balance the weight evenly in the tub

Washing machine flashing de

I haven't seen a DE is it maybe DC? these are the known codes
DL - Door unlocked when washer is running DS - Door is open when washer is running NF - Washer tried to fill but was not successful due to clogged water lines or closed water valves. ND - Washer is not draining it can also mean that the unit senses a small clog or frozen hose. DC - Unbalanced load prevented the washer from spinning. When the weight of the laundry is about 1kg the center of the weight gets shifted. redistribute the load and restart or add more clothing.
SUDS - Too many suds are detected, the unit will be put on hold until the suds are reduced the it will go back on. when it completes the wash it will flash END and SUDS. make sure you use HE (high efficiency) detergent

Display shows oL - Top-load washer

That oL is overload. You need to remove some clothes. On this model the motor can sense to much weight in the washer. If it does it without any clothes in there check for something jammed between the tubs.

W830 washing machine stops before end of cycle.

could be something to do with the drain pump, the machine gives itself 3 mins to get bellow a water level before it spins, if it cant make the water level in 3 mins it stops because the weight of the water and clothes would be too much for the machine that would start to dance the tango, check the pump and sump for minor blockages first.
