If you machine prints other things without problem, then you should be more specific about what web stuff you are trying to print. Often web based images are in frames or links, and these can be very difficult to access or print. You may need to download or screen-dump the content before trying to print it.

Does the Brother have a print utility, verifying cartridge levels?
You said you printed 40 pages?
Was there a lot of coverage per page?
You know that ALL printers only ship with STARTER cartridges, might want to check that first.
Does it not print black or color also?

SOURCE: My MFC8460N Brother won't print. It makes this

Gears on the tray is broken, or the gears that lift the tray. (thus the clicking noise). And the no paper is due to the actuators underneath not being activated because of the non lift.

Check back cover is fastened on properly. Reinsert the back cover and turn the knob to the "lock" position. If that does not work then try removing paper and re-inserting. Remove paper tray and re-insert.

Have a canon mp 470 keeps having a error of load paper in tray and it is full

Try removing the tray, reloading with the paper and reinserting the tray into the computer. If the paper is loaded a little unevenly, or if the tray is not fully inserted - or if there is an obstruction in the tray tracks, it would give you that error.
