The only way to unlock your device is to do a factory reset. Follow these steps:

1). Unplug the unit from everything and hold the Power button till the unit shuts off (ignore any prompts that might come up).

2). Press and hold the Vol + button. With the Vol. "+" button held, press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds and then release it. Do not release Vol "+ ".

3). The device will then power on. Do not release the Vol + button. You will then boot into a recovery screen which has an Android laying down looking broken. You may need to press the Vol. "+" button to get the options to appear.

4). Please use the "Vol -" to navigate to the "wipe data/factory reset" and select it (using the power button).

5). You will want to then select "Yes".

6). Once complete, please select "reboot now".

Hi, unfortunately its a job for a technician, yr fone has to be connected to a computor to access the security setting. Its a quick job provided you have tornado cables. Take it to yr nearest trusted cellular shop.

Forgot home screen password for Samsung 12.2 tablet. How do I unlock it?
If it's an android device...
1. Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
2. Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your email account username and password.
3. Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the device and double check the password by logging in to that email account in a browser.
4. If you don't have access to the original email account, you will need to do a hard reset and loose your settings and apps on the devcice. The data on the memory card will not be wiped though.
Note: if you can't remember your email password, you will have to visit the email service support page to get it reset.

Kindle Fire:
If you can't remember your lock screen password or PIN, you will need to reset your Kindle Fire.

Important: Resetting your Kindle Fire will remove your personal information (including your lock screen password or PIN), Amazon account information, and downloaded content and apps.   1. From the lock screen, slide the Unlock Bar from right to left.
  2. Enter characters into the prompt ten times. You will receive several warning messages. Dismiss the warning messages, and continue entering characters into the prompt.

After you've entered the incorrect password or PIN ten times, your Kindle Fire will reset.

Kindle Paperwhite:

If you can't remember the passcode for your Kindle you'll need to reset your device.

  1. Transfer from a Computer to Your Kindle Paperwhite.
    2. You can't reset your Kindle Paperwhite if Parental Controls are set. If you forget your password, reset your Kindle by entering "111222777" as the Parental Controls password.

    Important: Resetting your Kindle will remove all content downloaded to it. Any content that is already saved to Your Kindle Library in the Cloud will remain in the Cloud. You can download that content again if you register your Kindle to your account again.
