I printed two pages, and now my printer will not acknowledge there is paper in the tray and it just doesn't catch, so nothing will print.

Power cycle the printer
Try printing again

If it does not work
Print a test page from the printer itself as stand alone
if it does not print
It could be a hardware issue

check also ink levels if they were low

We can give you specific answers if you can post exact model of the printer and its brand

If you can print from the printer itself without the help of the computer it means the issue we need to settle is the connectivity

is it usb cable?wired? or wireless?
if printer lost its connectivity with the computer it will defnitely not print

either restart the computer, check cables if they were plug correctly, reconnect the printer wirelessly to the pc.

Hope I help you a bit

My computer had a virus. It is up and running now and I need to reconnect my printer. How do I do that without the CD ?

First check to see if your computer is able to auto recognize the printer and install the drivers and software by itself. To do this, boot up your computer and then turn your printer on and connect it to your system. If your computer can automatically sense the printer and install the drivers/software by itself, you will see a little pop up message on the bottom right hand side of your screen. It will say new equipment connected, installing drivers for use and continue with messages advising progress until completed and the printer is ready to use. If you connect the printer and your computer cannot auto complete the reinstallation process, then you will need to download the software and drivers from the manufacturers website on the internet. Unplug the printer from your computer and open the internet. Type in the manufacturers name in the search box area and open their website. Look for customer service, download drivers and software and enter your model number from your printer to locate the correct files.

Download the software and drivers by following the instructions on the screen and continue until it is finished. Close the internet and open the downloaded files and follow the instructions to install it on your computer. When the installation process is complete, connect your printer to your computer and it should automatically finish the process as noted above and confirm your printer is ready for use. Watch the bottom right hand side of your screen for messages on progress unitl its complete and then your done.

Try a test page to make sure your printer installed correctly and repost if you encounter problems.

Will Not print from my MacBook Pro in spite of trying both wireless and corded connections. Copies perfectly.

Deleted the original CD download. Then, reconnected the corded connection, as there is no wireless capacity. With both computer and printer reconnected, repeated the entire download process, and deleted all prior printers used by computer. System works fine if connected now.
