Question about Kenmore 24 in. Elite UltraWash Built-In Dishwasher

1 Answer

Water is pooling in my kenmore ultrawash and it won't turn on either. I need to know if there's anything I can do to drain the water because I think it's refusing to turn on on account of that water p

I have tried to take out the turbine blade in the bottom but I have no idea what I am looking at for the rest on the inside. The machine itself wont start or give any indications of working at all even when I make sure it's properly closed and secure.

First unclog your sink drains and the drain hose from the dishwasher. Once you are certain they are clear... Then you can do a couple things to remove the water. dip it out, or siphon it out.... or perhaps use an electric pump.

I think you are talking about the air gap on the sink. If so, the drain line to the disposal or drain is plugged or pinched .clean it out and problem solved.

Kenmore Ultrawash QuietGuard 3 Dishwasher not draining or rinsing

Not draining may either need new drain motor. or something is blocking the drain pipe.

Spots on dishes means you are using to much detergent or the wrong kind of detergent.

Your owners manuel should tell you what type to use.
