Does anyone know what to do with white wire on the back of boss audio system 7948B? it says camera 12v

I hooked up back up camera with provided details but it is not working. White wire is the only one that is connected to anything. Its named as camera 12v, but I provided power to back up camera through reverse light

IF you are not using the dedicated power connection for the camera, just tape it off and tuck it out of the way. As for the camera not working, have you confirmed that it is getting power through the backup light tap?

Sounds like your Memory +12V wire is not connected properly. If this wire does not have a constant source of power then you will lose all of your settings on your radio.

Things that may cause you to lose power through the Memory 12V wire:
  • Not hooked up properly to the battery
  • Bad battery
  • Bad ground
  • Loose wires
