Question about Heating & Cooling
How to remove and install
There will be control wiring to disconnect and maybe a molex molded plug or two as well as a portion of the condensing drain connections and trap. Two 5/16" screws should hold the blower assembly in place and once all obstructions are cleared, remove the two screws and slide the entire assembly out. It is mounted on rails.
If you are lucky, there will be enough 'play' in the thermostat wiring to allow it to remain connected and just set aside along with the control box and related wiring.
Once out, remove the square headed 5/16" set screw from the blower motor shaft and remove the motor by disconnecting the three point 'spider' mount. Should take a 3/8" wrench to remove those. Two sheet metal screws then hold a restrictor plate in place at the discharge opening of the blower that must be removed to allow the removal of the blower wheel.
Once done, reverse the process.
