You should have a confirmation email for the order. Typically it will include a link for order status. Check using that as backorders are tracked separately.
Otherwise, if the site required a login, you should be able to go back, log in, look for prior orders or order status under a heading similar to "My Account".
Lastly, check to see if an order invoice or other such paperwork was packed inside received shipments or perhaps under a mailing label. There may we info about excluded items on that form.

you can ask the seller if they have a tracking number for the item you bought...i see in the auction it was suppose to be sent usps priority mail..if they did it through paypal the tracking number will be displayed in your my ebay page in item bought/won...if its not there, they didnt ship it through paypal but went to the post office the mail it
check your won items page..if the tracking number isnt there...email the seller and ask for a tracking number...usps priority mail only takes 2-3 days to arrive

have you contacted the seller about the item that has not been recieved?
also paypal has a section for items not recieved, it's called the resolution center
just log in on paypal to your account
then down from the overview you'll see the resolution center just click on tab
it will take you to another page at report a problem click a dispute a transaction
& go from there

Report it to the supplier to give them an opportunity to rectify the error and refund any erroneous charges.
Report it to PayPal Support.
email@example.com (direct it to the local paypal office in your country)
It might just be an administrative error.
If it is deliberate, then PayPal can suspend or cancel the trader's access to the Paypal system.
